Peacock Duo

Hello Everyone,

This week I’m doubling up! Two cards each day with the same or similar products!

Today, it’s the Royal Peacock stamp set and matching dies with Call Me Clover and Blueberry Bushel retiring In Colours.

For the first card, the peacock was stamped with the assistance of the Stamparatus, first with Blueberry Bushel for the head and body and Call Me Clover for the tail.

The details were heat embossed with copper powder, (also retiring), and then die cut.

Some additional feathers were die cut to embellish the sentiment. This was stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink and cut with the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

The second card is completely different!

Four large feathers were die cut from Blueberry Bushel card stock and adhered together to form an oval-ish shape.

Stitched Square dies were used to cut the green frame and the stamped sentiment.

A few rhinestones added some extra interest to the background.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy Stampin’!

Lovely Lipstick Friendship Card

Hello Everyone,

Have you checked out the Last Chance products yet?

The new annual catalogue launches next month which means making room in the warehouse and retiring some products.

There are a few things to consider when looking at the list;

1. Bundles will retire, but may still be available as individual items in the new catalogue.

2. 2018 In Colours and anything with those colours included, (DSP, ribbon, embellishments etc.) will retire…. But don’t worry new colours are on the way!

3. Individual Stampin’ Blends markers will no longer be available.

You can view the retiring products here

So this card uses retiring items, Lovely Lipstick ink and card stock, Best Dressed DSP and the Honey Bee stamp set.

The DSP panel measures 2 by 5 inches and was adhered to Lovely Lipstick card stock cut 1/8 inch larger on both sides.

I adhered this panel to a preprepared card base with dimensionals.

The sentiment from the Honey Bee stamp set was stamped with Lovely Lipstick ink and cut with the Stitched So Sweetly dies…. Thankfully these dies are staying, I use them so much!

A scattering of clear rhinestone jewels finished off the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

In Colour Tulips

Hello Everyone,

If you have ever flown over The Netherlands, you will know colourful tulips can be!

All the current in colours are in use today, it won’t be long before we will be welcoming some new colours to the Stampin’ family.

The flower heads were stamped and punched in all the available colours except Call Me Clover. This was used for the stems and leaves.

All that was needed was a sentiment which I opted to stamp with Soft Suede ink. This particular sentiment seemed quite fitting given the current global pandemic!

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Project Share Project

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to this week’s Project Share. As always my friends have created some lovely work. Please use the links to visit their blogs and read more about their projects.

This week features gifts & treats! I am so jealous of these ladies being able to make these 3D projects! I always get in a muddle with these.

Jill has revisited a treat pouch perfect for an after dinner mint. Why not make these part of your Christmas place settings this year?

Visit Jill’s blog here for the full instructions.

Heather has been thinking about other medium which can be stamped. Stazon Ink allows for greater scope when choosing materials. These would be a wonderful First Christmas gift.

Visit Heather’s blog here to see more about this project.

Gez has stepped away from the Christmas theme for her sweet treat box. Switch up the colours and sentiment for different occasions, even wedding favours!

Watercoloured Bricks and Mortar

Hello Everyone,

I had a bit of fun with a new 3D embossing folder for today’s project.

I used Stampin’ Sponges to apply ink to the inside of the Bricks & Mortar embossing folder and spritzed it lightly with water.

The folder was used as intended to emboss some watercolour paper. Once dry, I trimmed it down and added it to a black card base.

Because the card is about the backround I added a simple white embossed sentiment from the Perennial Birthday set.

A few frosted epoxy dots completed the card

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Spring Summer Card Swap

Hello Everyone,

With each new catalogue there are more wonderful products to choose for your paper craft projects.

To share some inspiration, some of us demonstrators do a card swap.

These aren’t exactly the same as the ones I sent, I forgot to take photos of those…. So I remade them with 2018 in colours, the originals were in 2017 in colours.

The Stamping is all done using the Beauty Abounds set… I love those bokeh dots.

I thought the sentiment was fitting too as we are all friends in the Stampin’ Up! community.

I added the butterflies using the Butterfly Duet punch and adhered them with a glue dot.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Those Who Inspire Us

Good Morning Folks,

Today I am combining a Sale-a-bration freebie with one of my annual catalogue favourites.

If you do not know what Sale-a-bration is all about click below to see more about the offers available.

I built this project by starting with this great sentiment. This comes from “Part of my Story” Sale-a-bration stamp set.

This was stamped with Lovely Lipstick ink and Die cut with a Stitched Shapes Framelit. A Scalloped Layering Oval Die made the card stock layer.

The card base was made with Lovely Lipstick card stock. Ribbon was wrapped around the white layer before adhering to the base. The prepared sentiment was added usind dimensionals.

The Pop of Petals stamp set was used to add some greenery to the background. Three flowers were stamped & punched. These were secured in position with glue dots.

Finally, some leaves were punched from Lemon Lime Twist card stock. Glitter Enamel dots completed the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

A Lovely Lipstick card base was prepared by stamping “hooray” along the right hand edge.

The stamped panel was added to the card. “Congratulations” was added below it.

A strip of Blueberry Bushel card was adhered with five Pineapple Punch flowers.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

More #SimpleStamping

Hello Everyone,

Today’s project is about using #simplestamping to make greeting cards.

Projects like this one are even easier with Stampin’ Up!’s fantastic colour coordination across their products.

I began with a Call Me Clover card to which I added coordinating Designer Series Paper.

The sentiment was stamped onto some Whisper White card stock. The jigsaw pieces were then stamped around the edges.

Just a Note

Hi there,

Starting a new hobby can be overwhelming… What to buy? Well, less than you might think.

Today’s card uses minimal supplies, just card stock, stamps and ink.

I began by stamping clouds on the Blueberry Bushel card base with matching ink.

On a square of white card stock, I stamped the sentiment. Then added the balloons.

The square was layered on to Lovely Lipstick card stock and adhered to the card base with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Finally, the sentiment was stamped with Lovely Lipstick ink and cut with the Everyday Label Punch.

Simple Monochrome Snowflakes

Hello Again,

I know….. More snowflakes!

I just love them, at least on cards anyway, not so keen on the real thing.

This was so easy to make too.

Lovely Lipstick Ink was used throughout, firstly to stamp the grungy edge. I stamped off once, so the snowflakes would still be visible over the top.

I then just added the sentiment towards the bottom of the card and added this to a white card base.

No extra layers or embellishments today.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Team Retreat Swaps – Part 1

Hi Everyone,

I had an amazing weekend crafting with my Stampin’ Sisters at our annual team retreat. We had some marvellous make & takes too which I will be sharing soon.

Part of the fun is making “swaps”; little gifts we exchange to share creative inspiration.

This was my swap… I made 50 in total, 10 each in the five 2018 In Colours. They hold these cute little bubbles.

I don’t make many 3D projects, so these needed to be simple.

Start with a 1-1/2 inch strip of card stock cut from the short edge of an A4 sheet.

Score the strip on the long side at

  • 4-3/4
  • 5-3/8
  • 7-1/8
  • 7-3/4

For those using 8-1/2 by 11 card stock, the scoring will still work, but will create a larger piece at the end for gluing.

Fold and burnish the score lines.

Cut a 4-3/4 by 1-1/2 inch piece of coordinating In Colour DSP and adhere this to the end of the card stock. Use the Tag Topper punch to shape the end.

Flip over the card stock strip and add more DSP to the 1-3/4 by 1-1/2 section.

Punch 1/2 inch holes in the last but one section of the strip.

Fold the card stock and glue in to place.

I used a sentiment from Wood Words and punched this out.

Don’t they look great all together like this!

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Pineapple Punch Blooms

Good Morning!

Today’s card really packs a punch… Lol!

For the card base, a 3 inch piece of Pineapple Punch Designer Series Paper was adhered to the left hand side of a card base.

A 3 inch square of Whisper White card stock was stamped using the small flowers from the Varied Vases set. This was adhered to the right hand side with dimensionals.

A sentiment from the same set was stamped on to a strip of white card stock. Some Grosgrain ribbon was looped behind the sentiment before adding it to the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

To Pieces

Hi Everyone,

I am using this fun stamp bundle today.

I used the new embossing mats for the Big Shot to emboss the jigsaw die on to Whisper White card stock. This was layered on to some Balmy Blue card stock and then adhered to a Blueberry Bushel card base.

The sentiment pieces were stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink. These were die cut along with three extra pieces from Balmy Blue.

The fine tip glue pen was used to add a shiny coating the feature pieces.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Detailed with Love

Good Morning,

I have created my very own background for today’s card. Ordinarily, this would have been very challenging but using the Stamparatus made it so much easier.

I would recommended practising first.

To begin, the stamp was placed on the left hand edge of the white card stock.

The stamp was picked up on the door of the Stamparatus, inked up with Lovely Lipstick ink and stamped on to the card.

Using the hinge step technique, the stamp was repeated along the card.

The stamp was repositioned to create the next row, and so on until the card was covered.

Some metallic edge ribbon was attached below centre before adhering to a Lovely Lipstick card base.

The feature stamp was inked with Lovely Lipstick and stamped on to Whisper White card stock. This was die cut using the Layering Ovals framelits. These were also used to cut a scalloped layer too.

Once assembled, this was was attached to the card with dimensionals.

A small bow was added to the ribbon to complete the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Big Time

Good Morning Everybody,

I fancied doing some colouring so I pulled out this Animal Outing stamp set.

As I was using Stampin’ Blends to colour, I stamped the images with Memento ink on to a 3-1/2 square of Whisper White card stock.

The rhino was coloured with Smoky Slate and Ivory;

The frog is Rich Razzleberry;

The bird is Pool Party and Bermuda Bay;

Old Olive and Bronze were used for the branch.

The card base was made from Call Me Clover card stock which was cut to 8 by 4 inches, scored at 4 inches.

A 2 inch strip of In Colour DSP was added to the right hand side of the card, then embossed with the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textures embossing folder.

Layering Squares framelits were used to make a small frame of card stock which was adhered at an angle with mini dimensionals. Some Wink of Stella glitter pen added some sparkle.

The stamped panel adhered over the top of this.

The cute sentiment was stamped with Call Me Clover ink and cut with a 1-1/4 inch circle punch. This was added to a 1-3/8 scallop circle cut from the same DSP.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below. Click the picture to be directed to the online store.

The hostess code for orders less than £150 is 4QCQ4HPT. I would love to be your demonstrator.

Cue the Confetti

Good Morning!

Welcome to another InspireInk blog hop! This is a group of crafty friends giving inspiration based on a theme.

I have taken advantage of the bright new In Colours for my design and nothing says fun better than a shaker card!

The Pick a Pennant stamp set was used to add banners across to top of the card base using Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover and Grapefruit Grove ink.

The shaker element is made using the layering squares framelits. I decided to use a double frame cut from Lovely Lipstick and Pineapple Punch card stock. Iridescent sequins were used in the shaker.

The sentiment was stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink. The Tailored Tag punch was used to shape the end.

Finally, the Balloon Bouquet punch was used to cut balloons in all five colours and arranged on the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

In Colours 2018

Hello Everyone!

It’s almost here! The new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue 2018 will go live this Friday 1st June.

We will be saying goodbye to the In Colours that joined in 2016….. But that means there are new ones!

Introducing…..

Lovely Lipstick, Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch, Call Me Clover and Blueberry Bushel.

Aren’t they divine!

So for today’s post, I have made five identical cards to showcase these colours and the coordinating card stock and Designer Series Paper.

I have used white card stock to make the card bases and added In Colour DSP to each.

White card stock was cut to 3 by 4-3/4 inches and stamped with matching ink using Touches of Texture.

The Starburst Punch was used to cut the card stocks and adhered to a circle of vellum. This was adhered to the card with dimensionals.

Perennial Birthday was used to stamp the sentiment on to one inch strips of white card. These were trimmed to size using the Triple Banner Punch.

I hope you enjoyed this project. More projects featuring new catalogue items coming over the next week!

Have you got a new catalogue?? If not let me know and I will post one out to you absolutely FREE!

Friend Like You

Good Morning!

Here is another look at the new Share What You Love Suite!

There are three exclusive bundles available to customers during the month of May. You can see the different bundles in the online store. Click here.

If you would like to join Stampin’ Up!, these bundles can also be selected as as part of your custom starter kit. Find out about joining Stampin’ Up! here!

I have made a layered card today.

The lovely new In Colour, Grapefruit Grove, was used to stamp images from the Love What You Do stamp set and then cut down using my trimmer.

Two pieces on Designer Series Paper were cut to 3-1/4 by 4 inches. You can use whichever designs you like – they all go together beautifully!

The first piece was adhered flat to the card.

For the second piece, I added some of the Rich Razzleberry Velvet ribbon for extra colour and texture. This was then adhered to the card with dimensionals.

The stamped topper was then added on top, with a trio of Artisan Pearls – perfectly coordinated with the suite.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The specific items used to make this card are listed below, but are currently only available in the bundles.
