Cards and Tags using New Stampin’ Up! In Colours

Hello Everyone,

It is so exciting to be able to use these fabulous new Stampin’ Up! In Colours!

These are earthier tones than we have had in recent years and I can see Pebbled Path being a versatile neutral.

In Colour products are not yet available to customers, these will launch when the new catalogue goes live in May. If just can’t wait, you can join Stampin’ Up! now and add them to a Starter Kit!

For today’s project, I am using the Around the Bend stamps and dies.

Here is Moody Mauve and Pebbled Path.

You can see how I made these cards in my video tutorial …

Circle punches are available as online exclusives and layer together perfectly.

Here is Copper Clay and Wild Wheat.

And finally, this is Boho Blue.

I think they look great together as a collection!

The coordinating embellishments are really pretty and catch the light so well.

Tailor Made Tags dies were used for these additional elements.

I was able to make the card and two tags from a ingle A4 sheet of cardstock with just a few scraps left over!

I hope you enjoyed this project.

I was looking for some colour inspiration to make another version of this card design featuring the Alphabest Bundle.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial…..

The Dots and Spots die adds interest to the background.

Double embossing the letters gave them a super glossy look.

For this sample I used Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla die cuts. The lettering was stamped using Shaded Spruce and Granny Apple Green.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Using Retiring In Colours with the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set

Hello Everyone,

The 2021-2022 annual catalogue will retire in a few weeks time and that means we will be losing this wonderful set of In Colours!

It’s not all bad news…. We get five brand new ones to replace them!

So for today’s card I’m using them all! I’ve picked out the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set, another annual catalogue favourite!

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

Curling the wings of the punched dragonflies gives them movement and adds some dimension to the finished project.

I popped in a layer of Basic Black to lift the stamped layer from the base card.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Ink Stamp Share – September Colour Challenge

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my blog this afternoon… Today I’m hopping with a whole host of crafters from all over the world.

Please be sure to pay them all a visit and leave some encouraging comments!

How can I resist a colour challenge! The hop this month is challenging creators to use this gorgeous palette!

I decided to work with florals. One of favourite bundles this year is Flowers of Friendship… Perfect for this challenge.

The subtle Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam provided a soft back drop to the deeper colours I used as the focal point of the card.

Wink of Stella glitter and basic rhinestones add some sparkle too.

This was my original sample as another idea of how these colours can be used together.
