May SU Colour Challenge

Hello Everyone,

I made this card ages ago and completely forgot to share it!

I have to different ink blending methods to create this project.

I also used the amazing Tropic Chic stamp set which is sadly retiring. To achieve the gradient colour on the leaves, I used the Stamparatus tool, inking and stamping each image twice.

Here is video showing how to create a blended background!

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

You Are…..

Hello Everyone,

This has to be my favourite stamp set in the annual catalogue. I love the versatility it offers for so many occasions.

Today, I chose bright colours to brighten the day during the lockdown.

I stamped the leaves first. I used my Stamparatus to layer the inks, applying them to the stamp with a sponge dauber. I started with Bermuda Bay, wiped the stamp clean, then added Granny Apple Green. Each leaf was die cut ready to add to the card later.

A simple background was stamped on to a Whisper White card panel with Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo inks. This was secured to a Melon Mambo card base with snail adhesive.

The sentiment was stamped separately and cut with the Timeless Label punch. This and the die cut leaves were added with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

So Tropical Chic with a Purple Posy colour theme.

The card stock panel was randomly stamped using Purple Posy ink. This was layered on to matching card stock.

Some Polka Dot Tulle was tied around the panel before adhering to the card base.

The sentiment was cut using the Tailored Tag Punch. Some Purple Posy card stock was also punched and layered together with dimensionals.

Keeping it Simple – Part 5

Hello Everyone,

If you follow my blog you will have seen that I have doing a series of simple cards with minimal supplies.

The card base was made with Whisper White card stock.

I added a smaller panel layered with Rick Razzleberry card stock with Polka Dot Tulle tied around the middle.

On some scrap card, I stamped some leaves. I cut two portions with the Tailored Tag Punch. I also stamped and punched the sentiment.

The pieces were positioned a bit like a jigsaw puzzle around the knot of the ribbon using dimensionals.

A few rhinestones finish the card!

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Keeping it Simple – Part 4

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to part 4 of this series all about keeping it simple. Limited supplies doesn’t mean limited options!

So today, it is the layout that has been changed, opting for a square stamped panel as the focal point.

As before, I used Rich Razzleberry Ink to stamp the leaves from the Tropical Chic stamp set and layered this on to matching card stock.

The tulle ribbon was wrapped and tied around the panel before adhering to a white card base with dimensionals.

Also, as before, the sentiment was cut with the Tailored Tag Punch and some rhinestones finished the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Keeping it Simple – Part 3

Hello Everyone,

Here’s another keep it simple card….

This time I have added a punch to the supply list and used a simple stamping technique to get more from a single ink pad.

The background panel has been stamped with second generation ink…. This means inking the stamp, stamping on to scrap card and then using the second impression on the project. This gives a lighter shade without buying extra ink colours.

The Tailored Tag Punch was used to cut the sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Keeping it Simple – Part 2

Hello Everyone,

You may well remember a recent post where I used minimal supplies – Keeping it simple.

Today’s card uses the same products, but added coloured card stock and an extra embellishment.

I stamped the leaves first overlapping the edges of a small card layer. This was adhered to Rich Razzleberry card stock.

The Tulle ribbon was added toward the bottom and tied in a knot.

This topper was adhered using dimensionals to a Rich Razzleberry card base pre-prepared by adding a white card layer.

The sentiment was stamped next on to a strip of card stock and adhered with dimensionals.

Some scattered rhinestones added some bling to complete the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Keeping it Simple

Hello Everyone,

There was a little challenge set in our team Facebook group this weekend…. Keep it simple – one stamp set, one colour and one embellishment.

I picked out;

  • Tropical Chic,
  • Rich Razzleberry ink,
  • Polka Dot Tulle ribbon.

And this is what I came up with… Super easy to achieve whether you are a beginner or more experienced stamper.

I stamped the leaves first overlapping the edges of the card layer.

The Tulle ribbon was added toward the bottom and tied in a bow. The layer was added to a white card base.

The sentiment was stamped next on to a strip of card stock and adhered with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

In Colour Medley

Hello Everyone,

It will soon be time to say a fond farewell to some of the current In Colours. So today, I have used three of them to make this card.

I love using grungy stamps to make backgrounds. I used Artisan Textures for this project.

Lemon Lime Twist ink was used for the base layer. This was adhered to a Tranquil Tide card base.

On the topper, Berry Burst ink ink was used for the large image. A smaller image was chosen and stamped with Tranquil Tide ink. This was layered on to Tranquil Tide card stock and added to the card with dimensionals.

The sentiment from Perennial Birthday was stamped with Berry Burst ink and added across the topper.

Leaves from Tropical Chic were stamped with Tranquil Tide ink and die cut. These were tucked behind the sentiment strip.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.I would love to be your demonstrator.Don’t miss out on these last chance items…. When they’re gone, they’re gone!

The pieces were trimmed to size. The uppermost layer measuring 3 inches wide.

A sentiment from the coordinating stamp bundle was stamped with Shaded Spruce ink.

Additional leaves were die cut from the DSP sheets and layered below the sentiment.

Tropical Christmas #FMS366

Hi Everyone,

Here’s my entry for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge set by Cecile.

The design team projects can be seen here

And here is my design…..

I have broken out my Tropical Chic stamp set again and added some festive flair with the colour scheme.

Real Red ink was used to add the stripes to the background.

The leaves were stamped with Call Me Clover ink and die cut. Each was curled slightly and secured with a single dimensional.

The sentiment was taken from the Timeless Tidings stamp set. I thought this looked cute lying across the card at angle, this way it does not obscure the background design.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.
