You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

I also share a quick tip on how to make sure the stems are positioned correctly after making a tinsey mistake on my original sample.

I used Misty Moonlight and Balmy Blue as my combo in this example.

Which colours would you use?

In Colour Tulips

Hello Everyone,

If you have ever flown over The Netherlands, you will know colourful tulips can be!

All the current in colours are in use today, it won’t be long before we will be welcoming some new colours to the Stampin’ family.

The flower heads were stamped and punched in all the available colours except Call Me Clover. This was used for the stems and leaves.

All that was needed was a sentiment which I opted to stamp with Soft Suede ink. This particular sentiment seemed quite fitting given the current global pandemic!

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Mother’s Day Tulips

Hello Everyone,

Mother’s Day is only a few weeks away so I thought I would share this card with you. It’s very easy to make if you are just starting out with paper crafting.

The patterned paper is part of the free sampler pack available exclusively when joining Stampin’ Up! You will also receive a mini paper cutter and an additional free stamp set of your choice. This is all on top of the regular, totally customisable, starter kit – the best value product in the catalogue.

See more about joining Stampin’ Up! and the benefits it has by clicking here!

I started by making a white card base and adhering the patterned paper to the front.

Next, I stamped the tulips. They look great stamped in a single colour. I opted to mix Real Red and Flirty Flamingo. This can be done by applying each ink to the stamp with a sponge dauber. Each flower was cut out with the coordinating punch.

Before committing to sticking these in place, I positioned them first so the the stems could be stamped in the right place. The panel was layered with Real Red card stock and added to the card base.

I added the flowers with dimensionals to lift them slightly.

Finally, I added the sentiment. I have die cut mine, but this cut be cut with a paper trimmer just as easily.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Layered Floral Birthday

Hello Everyone,

I like to create something different with my products and thought that these punch shapes could be used as petals.

The image was stamped a number of times with Flirty Flamingo ink and punched. Multipurpose glue was used to attached them together.

Two white daisies were punched next and added to the centre.

Medium daisies were stamped with Petal Pink ink and also added to create a large dimensional flower.

A simple sentiment completed the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.
