Good Morning,

Today’s challenge from Just Add Ink is to “Just Add I”.

As always the design team have made some wonderful samples. See them here

My “I” is irredescent, sequins that is….

The design itself is simple using the Touches of Texture stamp set and Mint Macaron ink as a backdrop.

The same ink was used to stamp the sentiment which was cut with the Pretty Label Punch.

Dimensionals were used to adhere the sentiment. The sequins were then added.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Inspire.Create #019

Hi there,

Today’s post is my entry in the Inspire.Create. Challenge.

The theme is the new Stampin’ Up! In Colours.

You can see what the design team have created by clicking here!

I have kept the design simple teaming these bright colours with neutrals.

I have used Touches of Texture and All Things Thanks stamp sets.

I started with Pineapple Punch to stamp the splatter image in the background.

The flower was inked with Grapefruit Grove and adding some Lovely Lipstick to the centre and edges with a sponge dauber.

I added the stem using Call Me Clover ink.

Blueberry Bushel ink was used to stamp the sentiment.

The Detailed Trio punch was used to round the corners of the card stock.

Some Polka Dot Tulle ribbon was tied around the bottom before adhering to a Grey Granite card base.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies are listed below.

In Colours 2018

Hello Everyone!

It’s almost here! The new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue 2018 will go live this Friday 1st June.

We will be saying goodbye to the In Colours that joined in 2016….. But that means there are new ones!

Introducing…..

Lovely Lipstick, Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch, Call Me Clover and Blueberry Bushel.

Aren’t they divine!

So for today’s post, I have made five identical cards to showcase these colours and the coordinating card stock and Designer Series Paper.

I have used white card stock to make the card bases and added In Colour DSP to each.

White card stock was cut to 3 by 4-3/4 inches and stamped with matching ink using Touches of Texture.

The Starburst Punch was used to cut the card stocks and adhered to a circle of vellum. This was adhered to the card with dimensionals.

Perennial Birthday was used to stamp the sentiment on to one inch strips of white card. These were trimmed to size using the Triple Banner Punch.

I hope you enjoyed this project. More projects featuring new catalogue items coming over the next week!

Have you got a new catalogue?? If not let me know and I will post one out to you absolutely FREE!

Thanks for stopping by today and Happy Stampin’!

For Dad

Good Morning,

The retiring product list for 2018 has been released! Stock is already flying out the door. See the list here!

Today’s card uses Marina Mist card stock, really gonna miss this colour.

A piece of Whisper White card stock was stamped using Timeless Textures. I chose Soft Sky, Marina Mist and Dapper Denim.

This was adhered to Dapper Denim card stock. Some striped grosgrain ribbon was wrapped around the card stock before adhering to the card base with dimensionals.

The Large Letter dies were used to cut the word Dad. This was adhered using multipurpose glue.

The ‘Happy Birthday’ was taken from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set and stamped using Dapper Denim ink.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below – just click on the image.

Keila’s Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the March edition of the InspireInk Blog Hop.

Myself and a bunch of amazing ladies are sharing our creations to inspire you to create.

This month is a sketch challenge from Keila.

This is my card – hope you like it!

I have used a Whisper White card layer to build my design.

First, I stamped the large splatter image from Touches of Texture in Bermuda Bay ink.

Sale-a-bration shimmer ribbon was wrapped around the middle. This was adhered to a white card base.

The sentiment is from Happy Birthday Gorgeous. This was stamped with Bermuda Bay ink and cut with the Starburst punch.

This was added to a 2-1/4 inch card stock circle. The largest circle from the Stitched Shapes framelit collection was used to cut some vellum.

The completed embellishment was adhered with dimensionals.

Finally, I added some Basic Pearls that had been coloured with a Dark Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blend marker.

Happy Stampin’!

Just Thanks!

Happy Sunday,

Today’s card is simplicity itself, really easy to make even if you are new to card making.

The card base has been made in my usual way. Cut A4 lengthways at 4-1/8 inches, (10.5cm) then score at 5-7/8 inches, (15cm).

A white card layer measuring 3-7/8 inches, (9.8cm) by 5-5/8 inches, (14.3cm) was used to stamp on.

Using Sweet Sugarplum ink, I stamped the splatters from the Touches of Texture stamp set.

The word “Thanks!” was taken from the You Move Me set. This was stamped on to a strip of Whisper White card stock, the end was cut with the Triple Banner punch.

The butterfly was cut using the the coordinating dies in both Sweet Sugarplum and Whisper White card stock.

The two pieces were bent slightly along the body and adhered together with glue dots. This was then added to the card with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online shop below.
