Inspire Create Challenge #223 – Use Your Scraps!

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card is my design team make for the latest Inspire Create Challenge!

For Challenge #223 we are all creating projects using scraps!

I pulled out my box of Subtles cardstock scraps and die cut 2 squares using Stylish Shapes – these could be cut with a trimmer too.

The pieces were glued together for a patchwork look. To add a fabric texture I used the new Softly Woven embossing folder coming very soon!

The stitched edges were enhanced with a black pen and a simple sentiment banner was added over the top.

Inspire Create Challenge #222 – Hidden Message!

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card is my design team make for the latest Inspire Create Challenge!

For Challenge #222 we are all creating projects using the theme, Hidden Message!

You can see the other design team projects and take part in the challenge by clicking below!

This isn’t my usual card style so I searched for something easy to create. I found a design by Simply Simple Stampin’ Connie Stewart.

The pocket element is made with designer series paper.

A 4×10 inch piece was scored at 5¾, rotated and scored again at 2 inches.

The paper was folded back, applying adhesive along the sides only, leaving the top “open”.

Baker’s Twine was added to the small section before folding back and stuck down. A “faux tag” was added and secured with a mini dimensional.

The tag element (3×5 inches) was made with White Willow and Basic Black Two Tone Cardstock. Scraps of DSP were added to the bottom and added the Happy Birthday sentiment from Cutest Crew.

Inspire Create Challenge #220 – Single Layer Card!

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card is my design team make for the latest Inspire Create Challenge!

For Challenge #220 we are all making single layer projects!

No dimensionals today! 🤣

I have used the Nature’s Frame stamp set.

A 3-colour rainbow ink blend was created with Calypso Coral, Lemon Lolly and Balmy Blue – all from the Subtlest.

For a blend like this, I start with the yellow across the centre, as this will also create the orange and green bands where the colours overlap.

Some water droplets were added to lift the ink for a bleached look.

Once it was completely dry, the background was stamped in versamark ink and heat embossed with white powder.

A black sentiment from Scalloped Blooms was added and embellished with rhinestones.

Finally, some dots were added with a white gel pen!

I chose to work with the Botanical Expressions die. Peaceful Pine ink was added to the card base to make the leaves pop.

I added tiny flowers from the Greenery Lane bundle were stamped in Barely Blush, Crisp Cantaloupe and Golden Glow.

The sentiment was stamped with Hydrangea Hue ink and cut with a Stylish Shapes die.

Inspire Create Challenge #219 – Pink, Orange & Yellow!

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card is my design team make for the latest Inspire Create Challenge!

For Challenge #219 we are all making projects using a colour challenge!

I have used a die from the Scalloped Blooms set to cut circles from Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight cardstock… This one is great for using up those scraps!

A Lovely Arrangements die guided the placement of the circles, each one shaped and adhered with a mini dimensional.

The sentiment was stamped on to vellum and heat embossed to prevent the ink from smudging.

Inspire Create Challenge #217 – Sketch Challenge!

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card is my design team make for the latest Inspire Create Challenge!

For Challenge #217 we are all making projects using a sketch as inspiration!

For the background, 2026 In Colours were applied with blending brushes.

To help with alignment of Stylish Shapes dies cut squares, a scoreline was made at ¼ inch on all four sides. This was layered with black cardstock and added to a card base.

Butterflies were stamped using In Colours and cut with the coordinating punch.

The Stampin’ Positioner was used to add the sentiment.

Today’s card is my design team make for the latest Inspire Create Challenge!

For Challenge #216 we are all making projects using black and white products!

For the background, I used the letterpress technique with the Paradise Garden embossing folder.

Banners were created with the Nested Essentials Dies and cut from White Willow cardstock and Vellum.

Circles were cut using Spotlight on Nature and Stylish Shapes.

The sentiment is from the Greenery Lane set, the coordinating dies created the leaf embellishments.
