Cards in a Flash

Hello Everyone,

Have you seen all the amazing Designer Series Papers in this years catalogue?

These cards use the See a Silhouette collection…. They are so pretty, I didn’t want to cover them up!

I simply added sentiments that were stamped with black ink. For contrast, these were mounted on black card stock before adhering to the cards with dimensionals.

It was so easy, I made two… This pattern is the reverse of the first.

Each 12 by 12 inch sheet can make 6 standard cards in this way… with 12 sheets in a pack, that’s a lot of cards!

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Congratulations #GDP178

Hello Everyone,

This week’s challenge is a sketch challenge!

See what the Design Team have created with this sketch here

And this is my card…

I began by adhering some Designer Series Paper to a white card base.

A smaller layer of white card stock was cut with a 2 inch circle punch and then added over the top with dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped with Old Olive ink. Some Flax ribbon was adhered behind this with dimensionals. This was in turn secured to the card with another layer of dimensionals.

Leaves were cut from Old Olive, Whisper White and vellum card stocks. A dab of glue held these in place within the aperture.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

For Everything #GDP176

Hello Everyone,

This week the challenge is to Case the Designer! Steffi has made this awesome rainbow eclipse card.

See more from the Design Team here

And this is my card…

I liked the white embossed sentiment. I picked out these from the Well Said stamp set.

For the rainbow element I decided to die cut some butterflies.

I mounted these on to a smaller white panel layered on to Smoky Slate card stock.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

The Great Card Swap

Hello Everyone,

Today I am sharing a card I sent out as part of a swap group. The theme was “congratulations”.

I chose a simple design using the Well Said bundle allowing the sentiment to remain the focal point.

A splatter image from the Beauty Abounds stamp set was used to add colour to the background, increasing the intensity around where the sentiment would be positioned.

Three sets of leaves were die cut from white card stock and adhered with Multipurpose glue. The panel was added to a Gray Granite card base.

Night of Navy ink was used to stamp the sentiment. This was adhered over the bottom edge of Die cuts using dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Bloom by Bloom #GDP170

Hello Everyone,

Given the festive season, I am sharing my Global Design Project challenge entry with you today.

This week is a sketch challenge. The design team projects can be seen here

I have used the Happiness Blooms suite for my card.

I stamped the flower with Grapefruit Grove and Call Me Clover inks and adhered this to some coordinating Designer Series Paper.

A Lovely Lipstick card base was prepared by stamping “hooray” along the right hand edge.

The stamped panel was added to the card. “Congratulations” was added below it.

A strip of Blueberry Bushel card was adhered with five Pineapple Punch flowers.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.
