Creative Colour Challenge #80 with the Queen Bee bundle

Hello Everyone,

I’m a bit late posting this make for the Creative Colour Challenge #80 – real life got in the way a little this week. I can’t to see the new challenge later today!

If you wish to play along you can do so HERE!

This one was very tricky. I originally thought I would create a sunset but my daughter saw my sample and gave me a new idea.

I love the texture from the Bricks and Mortar 3D embossing folder which blended beautifully.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

I decided not to add a sentiment to this card and let the background shine through.

This card uses a Crushed Curry card base instead.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy Stampin’!

Jill’s card is lovely and bright ready for spring. The texture in the background makes the whole design pop!

Heather has created this beautiful seascape design by combining two stamp sets. This is much easier to create than it first appears!

Gez made this card for a swap. It is so colourful and shows how well the inks and papers coordinate!

Watercoloured Bricks and Mortar

Hello Everyone,

I had a bit of fun with a new 3D embossing folder for today’s project.

I used Stampin’ Sponges to apply ink to the inside of the Bricks & Mortar embossing folder and spritzed it lightly with water.

The folder was used as intended to emboss some watercolour paper. Once dry, I trimmed it down and added it to a black card base.

Because the card is about the backround I added a simple white embossed sentiment from the Perennial Birthday set.

A few frosted epoxy dots completed the card

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.
