InspireINK Blog Hop – Winter Thank You

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to December’s InspireINK blog hop.

The theme this month is “Winter Thank you”

I have used the Beautiful Blizzard bundle… I have loved using this set, I shall miss it when it retires.

I began by cutting a card layer 3 by 4-3/4 inches.

The sentiment was stamped with Gray Granite ink.

Blushing Bride ink was then used to add the snowflakes, turning the stamp each time.

The panel was adhered to a layer of Blushing Bride card stock and then to the card base.

Three die cut snowflakes were then added to complete the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Hello Everyone,

Today I have made these cute little cards with the Beautiful Blizzard stamp bundle.

The base is a small Memories & More card.

The front was stamped with Soft Sea Foam, Mint Macaron and Coastal Cabana inks.

A die cut snowflake was adhered with Multipurpose glue and rhinestone added to the centre.

Bermuda Bay Ink was used to stamp the sentiment.

The matching envelopes were also stamped to complete the set.

I made 5 cards in no time at all, a great quick project.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Hello Folks,

Today’s card makes use of simple white on white layering.

A Die cut show flake was adhered toward the bottom right corner of a card layer. The over hanging pieces were trimmed away.

Gray Granite ink was used to stamp the sentiment and added with dimensionals.

A few rhinestone jewels add some sparkle.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Quick Christmas card set

Hi Everyone,

Today I thought I would share this little set of cards. I made 5 of them in total.

I began by Stamping the large background stamp from the Beautiful Blizzard set along the score line of these narrow note cards with Balmy Blue ink.

Blueberry Bushel ink was used to add snowflakes to the cards and envelopes. I also stamped the sentiment on to strips of white card stock.

Two Die cut snowflakes were adhered to each of the cards with Multipurpose glue. A rhinestone was added to the centres.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Simple Monochrome Snowflakes

Hello Again,

I know….. More snowflakes!

I just love them, at least on cards anyway, not so keen on the real thing.

This was so easy to make too.

Lovely Lipstick Ink was used throughout, firstly to stamp the grungy edge. I stamped off once, so the snowflakes would still be visible over the top.

I then just added the sentiment towards the bottom of the card and added this to a white card base.

No extra layers or embellishments today.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Unique #FMS358

Hi Everyone,

Friday is here again and so is the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

This week’s sketch is provided by Karren. The design team projects can be seen here for more inspiration.

I have used the Beautiful Blizzard bundle for my design.

A Pool Party card base was first stamped with snowflakes using matching ink.

A stitched circle was cut from shimmery white card stock. The sentiment was added with Pacific Point ink.

Die cut snowflakes were added to the bottom of the circle. Rhinestones finished the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Snowflake Hugs

Good Morning,

The Beautiful Blizzard bundle was one of the first things I bought from the Autumn Winter catalogue… I knew I would able to make simple but effective cards.

I built the background with Pool Party ink. Stamped snowflakes were added with Pool Party and 2nd and 3rd generation Blueberry Bushel inks.

The sentiment was stamped with Blueberry Bushel Ink and adhered with dimensionals.

Some Die cut snowflakes were added with glue dots and a small bow of mini Grosgrain ribbon.

Finally, a few iridescent sequins finished the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Stencilled Snowflakes

Good Morning,

With the chilly morning we have been having, I thought I would use the Beautiful Blizzard bundle today.

The card is inspired by a project that we made at our recent team retreat curtesy of the lovely Heidi.

The main panel has made use of the “waste” from the cutting die as, a stencil.

I gently stippled ink over the portions I wanted using a sponge dauber. It didn’t matter to me that the edges weren’t perfect, it all added to the effect.

Once I was happy with the result, I adhered this to a Pool Party card which already has a white layer attached.

The sentiment was added simply at the bottom of the card and a few sequins completed the design.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Colourful Snowflakes #FMS354

Hi Folks,

Wow! It’s Friday again which means another Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

This week the challenge has been set by Linda.

You can see what the design team have made here

This week I have combined this challenge with one set within one of the Facebook groups I am part of.

So I am using Blackberry Bliss, Shaded Spruce & Lovely Lipstick inks.

First, I masked off sections of the card using post it notes. Each section was coloured using a sponge dauber.

The beautiful sentiment was inked with a dauber to achieve a multicoloured effect.

Snowflakes were then added with the matching colours.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

With Love – Just Add Ink #424

Hello Everyone.,

Welcome to another challenge entry… I usually do these on Mondays, but this week has been a bit crazy getting ready for a new school term.

This week the challenge is…

You can see what the design team have made here.

My design features a new embossing folder called Tin Tile, it’s so pretty! I just used white card stock which I mounted on to a black card base.

The inner panel is 1-1/2 inches smaller so the the embossing is still visible.

A combination of Artisan Textures and Beautiful Blizzard was used to add the texture to this panel. Smoky Slate, Gray Granite and Black Memento Ink were used.

The sentiment also comes from Beautiful Blizzard… Just goes to show that there are uses beyond Christmas…. This was cut with the Darling Label punch.

Some black satin ribbon was added across the middle, with a small bow attached.

For a final bit of bling and extra texture a few pearl sequins were also used.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.
