Good Morning,

Today I am using the Climbing Roses bundle to create this card.

I started by stamping the trellis image on to some Whisper White card stock. This was adhered to a Mango Melody card base.

The sentiment was stamped with Granny Apple Green ink and die cut with the coordinating Framelits.

The flowers were stamped with Memento Ink to allow colouring with Stampin’ Blends.

And this is my card…

I liked the white embossed sentiment. I picked out these from the Well Said stamp set.

For the rainbow element I decided to die cut some butterflies.

I mounted these on to a smaller white panel layered on to Smoky Slate card stock.

So Much to Love

Hello Everyone,

For today’s card, I’m letting the sentiment shine through on a back drop of pretty Designer Series Paper.

This sweet DSP is from the Garden Impressions collection. I adhered this to a white card base.

The excess paper was die cut on the reverse side with a Stitched Rectangle die. This was added to the card with Snail adhesive.

The sentiment was selected from the coordinating stamp set, Abstract Impressions. This was stamped with Pacific Point ink and die cut with a Stitched Rectangle Die. This was adhered off set against the blue paper using dimensionals.

A knot of Night of Navy baker’s twine was added as a finishing touch.

Inspire.Create #036

Hello and Welcome to this week’s Inspire.Create challenge.

As always the design team have made some wonderful samples. You can see them all here

And this is my card featuring Lasting Lily.

This stamp set is one of the Distinctive range, allowing for greater detail with a single impression.

I used Balmy Blue ink which I applied with a sponge dauber. I then added the stem.

The sentiment was stamped with Smoky Slate ink.

The panel was layered on to Balmy Blue card stock and and some Polka Dot Tulle was tied around the bottom.

This was then secured to a Smoky Slate card base with dimensionals.

Hello Everyone,

This card has been made for a Facebook colour challenge from Amanda.

Lovely Lipstick

Flirty Flamingo

Crumb Cake

And this is what I created with the Forever Lovely stamp set.

I used the large images as the main focus, using Crumb Cake rather than green for the foliage.

The sentiment was added with Lovely Lipstick ink.

I then added lots of layers. Dimensionals were used behind the Crumb Cake layer for added interest.

Lifetime of Love

Good Morning All,

Today I have a touch of #simplestamping, just one stamp set, one ink pad and some DSP.

Some Specialty Vellum was added to a white card base.

The main image was stamped on to separate panel of card stock with Gray Granite ink. This was adhered to the base with Snail.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment. This was trimmed to fit the panel and added using dimensionals.

Very Simple Valentine

Good Morning,

Isn’t this a cute card. It is so easy to make!

For the base, a piece of All My Love DSP was adhered to Soft Sea Foam card stock.

Some Polka Dot Tulle was wrapped across the middle before adding to a white case base.

The sentiment was stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink and cut with a circle punch. This was layered with circles cut from vellum and Soft Sea Foam card stock. Finally, this was adhered to the card with dimensionals.

Petal Pink variagated ribbon was added around this before adding to the base with dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped with Petal Pink ink and cut with a Stitched Circle Framelit. Some sequins completed the card.

One Leaf

Hello Everyone,

Something very simple to share with you today.

Soft Sea Foam is one of my favourite Stampin’ UP! colours. I used this to stamp the leaf which was then die cut.

This adhered to a vellum circle with dimensionals.

On a white card base, I stamped a splatter image front Timeless Textures. Crumb Cake ink was used to add the sentiment.

The vellum circle was then adhered to the card, also with dimensionals.

More Blended Blooms

Hello Everybody,

I loved making yesterday’s card, so here’s another using similar supplies.

This time I chose the large oval sentiment which was stamped with Soft Sea Foam Ink.

I added some of the larger flowers to this card, coloured with Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends Markers.

The composition meant I needed to trim down my usual card base so the images were central.

Tropical Sketch

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card is inspired by a sketch challenge set by Ian Potter

I have adjusted the measurements to suit my design.

The background features the beautiful Tropical Escape DSP.

The pieces were trimmed to size. The uppermost layer measuring 3 inches wide.

A sentiment from the coordinating stamp bundle was stamped with Shaded Spruce ink.

Additional leaves were die cut from the DSP sheets and layered below the sentiment.

Just Black & White

Good Morning,

Today’s project is a Facebook challenge entry….. The theme is black and white.

I went straight to the free Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper knowing there were a number of black and white designs.

I adhered the paper to a Whisper White card base.

The white panel was stamped with Timeless Textures before adding to the card.

The sentiments were selected from the Rooted in Nature stamp set. A 2-1/4 inch circle punch was used to cut the largest, whilst the other was stamped straight on to a narrow strip of card. These were adhered with dimensionals.

The flowers were stamped and punched and were added to the card along with some sequins.

Twinkling Inspiration #GDP174

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to this week’s Global Design Project challenge entry.

And this is my card….

The base is made with Night of Navy card stock.

Some Twinkle Twinkle DSP was cut to size. A one inch strip of Vellum was secure along the middle. Night of Navy twine was then wrapped around this before adhering to the base.

For the sentiment, I used the Sale-a-bration stamp set, Part of my Story. This was stamped with Balmy Blue ink and Die cut with a Stitched Shape Framelit.

A scalloped oval of Vellum was die cut and the sentiment layered on top. I used dimensionals to add this to the card.

Finally, I added a double bow tied from the Night of Navy twine.

Pretty in Pink

Hello,

Well today is my birthday! And I have the pleasure of sharing it with my friend, and this is the card I gave her.

I had to chose Flirty Flamingo as the base colour…. She loves flamingoes!

I added the beatiful Edgelit along the bottom.

The greeting was taken from the Lemon Zest stamp set and stamped with Melon Mambo ink. This fitted perfectly in to a Stitched Rectangle die.

Three little butterflies were punched out and added to the top, wings slightly lifted for extra movement.

Inspire.Create #035

Hi Everyone,

It’s time for a new challenge from Inspire.Create.

This is my card for the challenge.

I used Mint Macaron ink to stamp the base card with an image from the Dragonfly Dreams set. I cut a Doily and adhered this with Multipurpose glue.

A strip of Share What You Love Designer Series Paper was added across the middle.

The sentiment was stamped with Tranquil Tide ink and added with dimensionals.

Three Bitty Blooms were punched and decorated with rhinestones.

Birthday Cupcakes

Hello Everyone,

I love how this card turned out, pretty and simple design but really effective.

The card base was built from Whisper White card stock. A smaller panel adhered to black card stock before adding to the base.

The cupcakes and sentiment were stamped on to a separate sheet and allowed to dry.

Each cake was coloured with watercolour pencils and a blender pen then cut out with a 1-1/2 inch circle punch. Dimensionals were used to add them to the card. An extra dimensional was put behind the centre one for extra depth.

The sentiment was trimmed down and also added with dimensionals.

InspireINK Blog Hop – Romance

Good Morning,

Welcome to January’s InspireINK blog hop. This month we are getting romantic with our theme….

As always please click the next button at the bottom of this post to carry on hopping through the other projects.

My project uses the Dear Doily bundle…. It is Pink but there’s not a heart in sight.

To make the background, I heat embossed the small doily image across the bottom corner of the card.

Pink inks were added over the top. The embossed areas resist the ink.

The larger portion of the sentiment was added with Lovely Lipstick ink.

Using the Stamparatus, two of the florals were stamped with Granny Apple Green and Lovely Lipstick inks. These were die cut and adhered to the card.

The second portion of the sentiment was then added over the top of stems with a small Die cut element underneath.
