So Much to Love

Hello Everyone,

Today I am using die cuts to create a faux embossed look.

The die I have used for the background is from the Wild Rose set. It was cut 4 times and adhered to the card evenly spaced. The overhanging pieces were then trimmed away.

I picked out a sentiment from the Abstract Impressions stamp set. This was heat embossed with silver powder and cut with a Stitched Rectangle Die.

I didn’t like the sentiment on the card as it was, so I added a layer of vellum behind it which looked much better.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy Stampin’!

Inspire.Create #043

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Every other Monday I share my project that I have used as my entry for the Inspire.Create challenge.

This time it’s a colour challenge.

The design team have made some wonderful samples as inspiration. You can see them here.

I have used the Abstract Impressions bundle to create my project.

I began by Die Cutting the butterfly and sponged over this with Poppy Parade and Pumpkin Pie ink.

While this dried, I stamped some grass on a Whisper White card panel with Granny Apple Green ink. This was layered on to some Poppy Parade card stock and adhered to a white card base.

The sentiment was stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink and trimmed to size. After layering with Poppy Parade card stock, this was adhered to the card with dimensionals.

The butterfly was shaped and adhered to the card. I used Pumpkin Pie Stampin Blends to colour some rhinestones to complete the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

The frame and sentiment were added to the card with dimensionals.

Blooms from the Pop of Petals stamp set were stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink and punched out. These were adhered with Multipurpose glue.

So Much to Love

Hello Everyone,

For today’s card, I’m letting the sentiment shine through on a back drop of pretty Designer Series Paper.

This sweet DSP is from the Garden Impressions collection. I adhered this to a white card base.

The excess paper was die cut on the reverse side with a Stitched Rectangle die. This was added to the card with Snail adhesive.

The sentiment was selected from the coordinating stamp set, Abstract Impressions. This was stamped with Pacific Point ink and die cut with a Stitched Rectangle Die. This was adhered off set against the blue paper using dimensionals.

A knot of Night of Navy baker’s twine was added as a finishing touch.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

The kindness sentiment from the Abstract Impressions bundle was stamped with Blushing Bride Ink and cut down to size.

The butterfly die was used to cut Blushing Bride and Vellum card stock. These were adhered together and rhinestones added to the body.

Pink Impressions #FMS347

Hey Everyone,

Wow it is Friday again which means another sketch challenge. The design team have some created some beautiful projects as further inspiration. You can see them here!

This is my project.

I decided to substitute the circle for this lovely die cut butterfly from the Abstract Impressions bundle.

For the square element, I chose some designer series paper from the same suite. This then determined the colour scheme for the rest of the card.

I chose Powder Pink card stock for the base. The paper was cut to 3 inches square and adhered to the left of centre to the card.

The butterfly was cut from Melon Mambo card stock and adhered across the top corner of the square. Some Glitter Enamel Dots were added to the body of the butterfly.

The sentiment from the Abstract Impressions Stamp set was stamped with Powder Pink ink on to a small strip of white card stock. This was applied to the card with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Inspire.Create #022

Good Morning!

Welcome to today’s blog post and my entry for the Inspire.Create Challenge.

This time there is a colour challenge….

The colours really lend themselves to a floral theme. This is what I created;

Shaded Spruce card stock was used to make the card base. Some Powder Pink designer series paper was adhered to the front.

I picked out some Layering Squares framelits to make the topper.

A Stitched Square framelit was used to cut some Whisper White card stock.

Shaded Spruce and Coastal Cabana inks were used to stamp the foliage images from the Abstract Impressions stamp set.

The flowers were then stamped with Powder Pink ink and coated with Wink of Stella glitter.

Finally, the sentiment was added underneath the topper.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Team Card Swap 2018

Good Morning,

One of the best things about being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, is being part of a team and sharing ideas.

Recently, I took part in a card swap, the focus being on new annual catalogue products.

I chose to use the Abstract Impressions bundle.

The card base was made from Petal Pink card stock.

A white card layer was embossed with using the new embossing mats for the Big Shot.

To make the topper, white card stock was cut to 3 inches square.

Soft Sea Foam and Granny Apple Green inks were used to stamp the stems.

Petal Pink and Grapefruit Grove inks were used for the flowers.

For a little contrast, the butterfly was stamped with Balmy Blue ink.

This was layered on to Grapefruit Grove and Petal Pink card stock. Some Polka Dot tulle was secured between the card layers.

Balmy Blue ink was used for the sentiment which was cut into a banner.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the 24/7 online store below.

Floral Frame Just Add Ink #414

Good Morning Everyone,

I am playing along with the Just Add Ink challenging today.

The design team have provided lots of inspiration, you can see their work here!

I have used floral die cuts to make a frame.

The floral die is from the Abstract Impressions bundle. I used this to die cut Whisper White card stock which had been coloured with sponge daubers.

A 2-1/4 inch circle was punched from some vellum. The sentiment was stamped on this with Gray Granite ink. This was heat embossed with clear powder.

A 2 inch punch was used to cut an aperture in a Whisper White card layer. The vellum circle was then added over the top with a tiny amount of multipurpose glue.

This panel was adhered to a piece of Soft Seam Foam card stock also with an aperture.

Dimensionals were used to add this panel to a Very Vanilla card base.

The floral die cuts were added around the edge of the vellum circle using multipurpose glue.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Happy News

Hello Everyone,

I couldn’t resist using this butterfly from the Abstract Impressions bundle any longer.

I have used Whisper White card stock for the base. Some Garden Impressions designer series paper was added to some Powder Pink card stock and then adhered to the base.

The butterfly was cut twice, once in Soft Sea Foam card stock and again from vellum. The two were adhered together. Some Mint Macaron faceted dots were added to the body.

Some Rose metallic thread was looped on to the card, the butterfly was then added over the top with dimensionals.

A sentiment from the stamp set was stamped with Soft Sea Foam ink. I used one of the flower stamps and So Saffron ink to add some interest. This was then cut using the Tailored Tag Punch and adhered to the card with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to my 24/7 online store below.
