InspireINK Blog Hop – Tic Tac Toe Colour Challenge

Good Morning Everybody,

Welcome to this month’s InspireINK blog hop. This time we have a fun colour challenge.

Please be sure to click through all the projects in the hop by clicking on the link below.

I have chosen two lovely retiring stamp sets for my card, Falling Flowers & Friendly Expressions.

A white card layer was first stamped with the large flourish image using Mango Melody ink.

Blackberry Bliss ink was used to stamp the sentiment on to some vellum. I secure this to the card layer by wrapping the ends behind.

Other elements were stamped on to Whisper White card stock. The images were “coloured” by moving the ink with a Wink of Stella Glitter brush. These were then die cut ready to be arranged on the card front.

A combination of Multipurpose glue and dimensionals were used to adhere the elements. Some faceted gems completed the card.

More Blended Blooms

Hello Everybody,

I loved making yesterday’s card, so here’s another using similar supplies.

This time I chose the large oval sentiment which was stamped with Soft Sea Foam Ink.

I added some of the larger flowers to this card, coloured with Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends Markers.

The composition meant I needed to trim down my usual card base so the images were central.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Blended Florals

Good Morning,

I love using florals in my cardmaking and I love this stamp set and matching Framelits.

The images were stamped in Memento Ink so that they may be coloured with Stampin’ Blends Markers. These were die cut ready to add to the card.

An additional die cut was adhered to a white card base over which the sentiment was added.

The flowers were then adhered around the sentiment using dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Just Add Vellum challenge #429

Hi Folks,

This week the Just Add Ink challenge is to add Vellum!

You can see inspiration from the design team here.

I love using Vellum… It is the perfect accent to add to the background of this card design.

Most of the design elements are all from the Falling Flowers stamp set and coordinating May Flowers dies.

I started by positioning a vellum die cut, securing it with some snail adhesive.

Flowers and leaves were stamped with Flirty Flamingo and Soft Sea Foam inks respectively. These were die cut and adhered with Multipurpose glue.

A rhinestone was added to each flower centre.

The sentiment from Wood Words was stamped with Shaded Spruce ink and cut using a 1-1/8 Scalloped circle punch.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Project Share Project

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to this week’s Project Share. This week the ladies have designed some lovely monochromatic cards.

It just goes to show what can be achieved with minimal supplies. I have enjoyed using this technique too.

Amanda has used shades of blue with the Very Vintage stamp set for this beautifully simply and elegant card.

February Florals

Good Morning!

Falling Flowers is one of my favourite stamp sets. So when I wanted a pretty birthday card for my friend this is what I reached for.

The card base is Sahara Sand, with the large flourish added with the matching ink.

The flowers and leaves were stamped on to Whisper White card stock and then die cut.

The floral arrangement was put together with glue dots. The centres were embellished with rhinestones.

The sentiment was taken from Happy Birthday Gorgeous and stamped with Crumb Cake ink.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online shop below.
