Spruce Wreath

Hello Everyone,

This stamp set has to be one of my favourites from the Autumn Winter catalogue.

Shaded Spruce ink was used to stamp the wreath on to a white card base. The “berries” were added using Real Red ink.

The sentiment was stamped with Real Red ink and cut with Stitched Circle die. This was adhered in the centre of the wreath with dimensionals.

A bow was tied from Shaded Spruce Gold striped ribbon and added to the bottom.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Seasons Greetings

Hello Everyone,

I thought I would share this non traditional Christmas card design with you today.

The colour combination I used is Balmy Blue, Pacific Point, Night of Navy and Rich Razzleberry.

Whisper White card stock was coloured through a decorative mask using Stampin’ Sponges.

Before removing the mask, versamark ink was pressed over the panel. (The ink pad will get stained, so using an older pad might be a good idea).

I applied some clear embossing powder and heat set this to give a shiny design. This was adhered to a white card base.

A sentiment was added using Rich Razzleberry ink.

The stars were heat embossed with silver powder and die cut with the coordinating dies.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Ho Ho Ho

Hello Everyone,

This card really shows how beautifully Stampin’ Up! colours match across the product range… Ink, paper and card stock!

A Garden Green card base was layered with a strip of Very Vanilla, Garden Green card stock and a scrap of Toile Tidings DSP.

I didn’t measure these, I just used off cuts and trimmed to the correct width.

Garden Green ink was used to stamp the sentiment and trees on to Very Vanilla card stock. These were adhered with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Glittered Winter Woods

Hello Everyone,

I thought I would revisit the festive stamp sets in the Annual catalogue for today’s project.

The trees were stamped with Early Espresso Ink onto a Very Vanilla card layer.

Dabs of glue were added to the image which were covered with Ice Glitter. The excess was was tapped off and allowed to dry before adhering to a Crumb Cake card base.

The sentiment was heat embossed with gold powder and added below the trees with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Christmas Time

Hello Everyone,

This stamp set is one of my favourites in the Autumn Winter catalogue – especially these snowflakes!

I chose a slightly different colour palette and like the end result.

I started with the largest snowflake and Highland Heather ink. Next I added Balmy Blue and then Silvery Shimmer inks.

The panel was adhered to some Gorgeous Grape card stock and then to a pre-prepared card base with dimensionals.

Loops of silver thread were secured to the card. The sentiment was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink and cut with the Timeless Label punch. This was added with dimensional adhesive to complete the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Toile Tidings

Hello Everyone,

It seems that we are already hurtling through November so during this busy period quick cards are the order of the day.

These feature the Toile Tidings papers in traditional Real Red and, Garden Green.

The card base was made the coordinating card stock colour.

The Designer Series Paper was layered on to a Very Vanilla card layer and then to the card base with snail adhesive.

I picked out a, sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set. Matching ink was used to stamp on to Whisper White card stock in contrast to the Vanilla.

The sentiment was cut with a 1-1/2 inch circle punch and adhered to a 2-1/4 inch circle of vellum. This was added to the card with dimensionals.

A bow was tied from matching ribbon and secured with glue dots.

This is the Garden Green version. On this card I moved the sentiment to the side and added some metallic pearls.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Silhouette Deer

Hello Everyone,

For today’s card I used a combination of mask and ink blending to create a background.

Using post-it notes, I masked off a section of card stock.

With sponge daubers I applied ink starting with Balmy Blue.

Pacific Point was added next along the top, then Highland Heather along the bottom.

The deer and sentiment were stamped with versamark ink and heat embossed with Shimmer Black powder.

A Stitched Rectangle Die was used to cut the panel. This, was adhered to a card base that had been stamped with snowflakes in Silvery Shimmer Ink.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Warm Wishes

Hello Everyone,

I have had this idea in my head for a while, finally it is made a reality.

The card uses the Rustic Retreat stamp set which I fear has been a little overlooked but I love it.

My card base was made with Crumb Cake card stock. The pine bough image was used to embellish the background using Early Espresso ink.

The topper panel was stamped with the treeline image with Shaded Spruce, Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz inks. This was layered on to Poppy Parade card stock.

The cabin and sentiment were stamped with Early Espresso and Poppy Parade inks respectively.

Watercolour Pencils were used to add a hint of colour to the cabin before Die Cutting with a Stitched Oval die.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Wrapped Wrapped in Plaid x3

Hello Everyone,

Here are some more cards using Perfectly Plaid bundle and Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper.

The paper has three main colours in collection, Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce and Night of Navy. It is these colours that I have used for my card bases.

To make a card base cut an A4 sheet of card stock lengthways at 4-1/8 inches (10.5cm), turn and score at 5-7/8 inches (15cm).

Each card base was layered with a piece of coordinating DSP measuring 4 inches (10.2cm) by 5-3/4 inches (14.6cm).

The smaller panels measured;

3 inches (7.6cm) by 4-3/4 inches (12cm) for the coloured card stock;

2-7/8 inches (7.3cm) by 4-5/8 inches (11.7cm) for the white card stock.

On this piece, the sentiment was stamped with versamark ink and heat embossed with gold powder.

The embossed panels were adhered to the corresponding card base.

Scrap coloured card was used to stamp and heat emboss the trees which were cut with the coordinating punch. These were added to each card using dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Inspire.Create #055

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Every other Monday I share my project that I have used as my entry for the Inspire.Create challenge.

This time it’s a colour challenge. The design team have made some wonderful samples as inspiration. You can see them here.

And this is what I created!

This was quite a tricky combination! Once I decided that Lovely Lipstick and Old Olive would be used for a floral, I picked out Pop of Petals to create my design.

I used Blushing Bride card stock to make the card base which I stamped with coordinating ink.

Leaves were stamped on the topper panel with Old Olive ink and layered with Night of Navy card stock.

The flowers were stamped on to some scrap card stock using Lovely Lipstick ink and cut with the coordinating punch.

The Well Said stamp set provided the sentiment which was stamped with Night of Navy ink. The Classic Label punch fits over this perfectly and was adhered with mini dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Glimmer Star

Hello Everyone,

For today’s card I teamed the Stitched Stars dies with some gold glimmer paper.

The glimmer die cuts were adhered to a larger star cut Shimmery White card stock.

The card base was layered with glimmer paper and white card stock.

Silvery Shimmer ink was used to add some tiny stars to the background before adhering to die cut star with dimensionals.

Finally, Real Red ink was used to stamp the sentiment on to Shimmery White card stock. The ends were rounded with the Timeless Label punch.

Layered Let It Snow

Hello Everyone,

More Christmas crafting today with the Snowman Season stamp set and the adorable Let it Snow Speciality Designer Series Paper.

The Designer Series Paper was adhered to a white card base.

The flip side then used to make a smaller topper panel. Tulle ribbon was tied around the panel before adding to the prepared card base.

The snowman was stamped in Memento black ink and coloured using a combination of watercolour pencils and Stampin’ Blends Markers. The image was cut with a Stitched Rectangle die.

Flirty Flamingo ink was used for the sentiment which was also die cut.

Layers were assembled using dimensionals. Some snowflakes which were left over from yesterday’s project finished the card.

The sentiment was stamped with Night of Navy ink and die cut.
