Hello Everyone,

What could be simpler…. Beautiful stamps with a coordinating punch in use today to make Christmas cards.

I thought I would try using some alternative colours too!

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial…..

Love these blues together, Pacific Point, Night of Navy and Balmy Blue…

Here’s a more traditional combination of Real Red, Shaded Spruce and Granny Apple Green…

This alternative uses Blushing Bride and Soft Sea Foam….

Do you have a favourite?

Ho Ho Ho

Hello Everyone,

This card really shows how beautifully Stampin’ Up! colours match across the product range… Ink, paper and card stock!

A Garden Green card base was layered with a strip of Very Vanilla, Garden Green card stock and a scrap of Toile Tidings DSP.

I didn’t measure these, I just used off cuts and trimmed to the correct width.

Garden Green ink was used to stamp the sentiment and trees on to Very Vanilla card stock. These were adhered with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Wrapped Wrapped in Plaid x3

Hello Everyone,

Here are some more cards using Perfectly Plaid bundle and Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper.

The paper has three main colours in collection, Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce and Night of Navy. It is these colours that I have used for my card bases.

To make a card base cut an A4 sheet of card stock lengthways at 4-1/8 inches (10.5cm), turn and score at 5-7/8 inches (15cm).

Each card base was layered with a piece of coordinating DSP measuring 4 inches (10.2cm) by 5-3/4 inches (14.6cm).

The smaller panels measured;

3 inches (7.6cm) by 4-3/4 inches (12cm) for the coloured card stock;

2-7/8 inches (7.3cm) by 4-5/8 inches (11.7cm) for the white card stock.

On this piece, the sentiment was stamped with versamark ink and heat embossed with gold powder.

The embossed panels were adhered to the corresponding card base.

Scrap coloured card was used to stamp and heat emboss the trees which were cut with the coordinating punch. These were added to each card using dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

More Perfectly Plaid Pines

Hello Everyone,

Here’s another card using the Perfectly Plaid Bundle. Also features the coordinating Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper.

I started by preparing a white card base and adding DSP to the background.

Golden Glitz pigment ink was used to stamp the sentiment on to a card layer and adhered this to the base.

Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce inks were used to stamp the trees which were cut with the matching punch.

I decided how to position the trees, adhering some flat and some with dimensionals.

Inspire.Create #053

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Today I am sharing my Inspire.Create challenge entry.

This time it’s a sketch challenge. The design team have made some wonderful samples as inspiration. You can see them here.

And this is what I created!

I used Shaded Spruce ink to stamp the pine trees. Several generations of ink created depth.

I added some ribbon and adhered this to some Cherry Cobbler card stock.

The sentiment was stamped with gold ink and die cut with a Stitched Rectangle Die, which was then added with dimensionals.

Some epoxy dots completed the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.
