Trio of Vases #FMS351

Hi Everyone,

Today I am taking part in the Freshly Made Sketches challenge. The idea for this week’s sketch was based on the rule of thirds.

So I have created a trio of beautiful Vases, each filled with a trio of flowers!

I started by Stamping and punching all the Vases, flowers and leaves. The outlines were stamped with Memento and then the solid images were used to fill them in. I chose Soft Sea Foam, Petal Pink and Balmy Blue. Granny Apple Green was used for the leaves.

The flowers were left white and vanilla.

On a Whisper White layer, I stamped the “shelf” with Sahara Sand ink.

I lay out the Vases without adhesive to judge where to add some green stalks. The Vases were then secured with dimensionals.

Leaves were added with Multipurpose glue and the flowers with mini dimensionals.

Wink of Stella clear glitter pen add sparkle to the flowers and Vases.

Gray Granite ink was used to add the sentiment. The panel was mounted on to a Tranquil Tide card base.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Inspire.Create #024

Good Morning,

I was spoiled for choice when it came to designing this card for this week’s Inspire.Create challenge.

The design team have made some fabulous pretty cards that you can on the Inspire.Create blog here!

I plumped for the Perennial Birthday stamp set. At first, I thought I would use pink ink, but finally settled on purple and blue.

I began by Stamping the florals on to a white card layer, (4 by 5-3/4 inches).

Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green, Gray Granite and Balmy Blue ink built the background. Some speckles of Soft Sea Foam filled in the white spaces and added some texture.

The bottom corners were rounded before adhering to a Granny Apple Green card base.

White Polka Dot Tulle ribbon and Rose metallic thread were looped and secured on to the card. The sentiment was added over the top with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

For All You Do

Good Morning Everybody,

I have revisited one of my favourite bundles in the Stampin’ Up! Annual catalogue today… The stunning Rooted in Nature and Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper.

The card base was prepared using Tranquil Tide card stock. I picked out a coordinating patterned paper from the Nature’s Poem collection and adhered that to the front.

I love the combination of Tranquil Tide and Blackberry Bliss, so I added a 2 inch strip across the card towards the bottom.

Coordinating inks were used to stamp the trees and these were Die cut. These were then arranged on the card and secured with snail and dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink and added to the bottom of the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Sssh! Merry Christmas #GDP150

Hi Everyone,

I missed out on taking part in last week’s colour challenge as I was away on holiday…. I did have craft withdrawal though!

So I am pleased to be bringing you another Global Design Project entry.

The team have a sketch challenge for us this time. You can see all of their wonderful ideas here!

So I gone (ssshh!) Christmas, and featured the fabulous Blended Seasons stamp set and Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper.

I prepared a card base using Shaded Spruce card stock. This is nota colour featured in the paper but thought it provided some extra colour tones.

Three strips of paper were cut to 4 inches by 1 inch and layered on to Old Olive card stock. Starting with the outer most pieces these were secured with snail adhesive.

Tranquil Tide mini Ruffled Ribbon was added over the top of the panels. An additional 1/2 inch strip of paper, (the reverse design), was added with dimensionals.

The Merry Christmas sentiment was stamped in black ink and also added with dimensionals.

The little Christmas bell was stamped and then coloured with Daffodil Delight and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends markers. This was die cut with the coordinating Framelits.

Additional sprigs were cut from Old Olive card stock and added with Multipurpose glue.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.
