Best Thing

Hello Everyone,

The Wonderful Romance bundle was instantly a favourite of mine when I first saw it in the catalogue back in November.

I haven’t used many of the dies, so this card is all about die cutting!

I used a piece of this fabulous Designer Series Paper as a backdrop for the white die cuts.

The decorative strip was adhered first by using mini dimensionals under each of the leaves.

The sentiment was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink. I love this oval Die, which was also adhered with dimensionals.

The leaves are so delicate and have great embossed details. These were slotted in behind the oval with multipurpose glue.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Inspire.Create #040

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Every other Monday I share my project that I have used as my entry for the Inspire.Create challenge.

This time it’s a colour challenge. The design team have made some wonderful samples as inspiration. You can see them here.

I have used Serene Garden for my card with a sentiment from Rooted in Nature.

The large stamp was added to opposite corners of a Whisper White card layer using the Stamparatus tool. This was adhered to a Basic Black card base.

The dove and flowers were stamped separately and die cut. The flowers were added to the card.

The sentiment was cut with a Stitched Shapes Framelit. This was positioned on the card with dimensionals. The dove was then adhered next to it.

Wink of Stella Glitter was added to the dove and the flowers to complete the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Hello Everyone,

The colours chosen for this card were inspired by some art I saw on Instagram by @calliandco

The white card base was stamped first with Sahara Sand ink and the Wishing You Well stamp set.

The main image was stamped with Crumb Cake ink using the Stamparatus. Some areas were reinked to deepen the colour.

The blooms were added first using Cherry Cobbler and then Merry Merlot ink. The image was die cut with a Stitched Rectangle.

The same die and one 2 sizes larger were used to cut a frame. This was adhered flat to the card with Multipurpose glue.

The main image was added to the centre with dimensionals.

The sentiment from the Kindness and Compassion stamp set was stamped with Merry Merlot ink and also die cut with a Stitched Rectangle Framelit.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Hello Everyone,

I am playing along with a Facebook colour challenge today!

I have used the Beautiful Promenade bundle to make my project. Isn’t the doily die cut stunning?

A white card layer was stamped randomly with leaves using first and second generation Mint Macaron ink. This was adhered to a white card base.

A smaller white layer was added with dimensionals. The doily was die cut from Mint Macaron card stock and adhered to the card.

Three sets of leaves and the flower were stamped on to a separate piece of card in Old Olive and Daffodil Delight inks. These were die cut and arranged on the card.

The sentiment was stamped with Old Olive ink and slotted in under the flower. A few rhinestones finished the project.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Seize the Day

Hello Everyone,

I have had this set for a while now and finally inked it! Isn’t is lovely! The sentiment is so meaningful.

I stamped the trees first with Granny Apple Green ink. Some ink was dabbed off the bottom so the deer would stand out.

The second image, with the deer, I stamped with the Stamparatus. Gray Granite was used first, then Soft Sea Foam for the misty lake.

For contrast, Blackberry Bliss ink was used the add the sentiment and the little birds.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Your Thoughtfulness

Hello Everyone,

Today, I have inking this gorgeous koi carp from the All The Good Things stamp set.

I used the Stamparatus to create the mottled Colouring of the fish. Using a sponge dauber to apply the ink where I wanted it, I stamped with Poppy Parade ink first. I repeated this with Gray Granite ink.

I layered the stamped card on to Poppy Parade card stock and adhered this to a Whisper White card base.

The sentiment was heat embossed in gold and added along the bottom with dimensionals.

Inspire.Create #039

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Every other Monday I share my project that I have used as my entry for the Inspire.Create challenge.

This time it’s a theme challenge. The design team have made some wonderful samples as inspiration. You can see them here.

Well this is a challenge… After a rummage in my stash, I found a goldfish image in the Jar of Love stamp set, so I made a tank for them.

The back drop was made with a stamp from the Lily Pad Lake set. The weeds are partially stamped foliage from Jar of Love.

A Stitched Rectangle was used to cut an aperture in a white card layer. This was added over top with dimensionals.

The fishes were stamped and die cut and added to the ‘tank’.

By chance, the greeting “best fishes” was included in the set. I added this with Pumpkin Pie ink.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Best Wishes #GDP181

Hello Everyone,

This week is a colour challenge!

See what the Design Team have created with this colour palette here

I have to say when I pulled these from my colour caddy I wasn’t instantly inspired.

But I remembered something I had shown my downline about using the Stamparatus to create multicoloured images.

With that in mind, I decided to use Petal Palette to make my project.

And this is my card…

I started by preparing the florals.

I mounted the stamp onto the clear door of the tool. I used sponge daubers to apply the inks.

I stamped with Daffodil Delight ink first. Cleaned the stamp and then applied Grapefruit Grove. I repeated this with Lemon Lime Twist. The images were die cut with the coordinating Framelits.

I prepped a card base using Daffodil Delight card stock and added a Lemon Lime Twist layer.

Before adding Whisper White, I first stamped some foliage to add detail to the background.

The die cuts were adhered to the bottom of the card with dimensionals.

A sentiment was stamped with Grapefruit Grove ink and cut with a die from the same set.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Diamonds and Leaves

Hello Everyone,

Today’s project was inspired by this sketch from Jill….

I added my own twist on things by varying the size of the diamonds.

I chose Blackberry Bliss to make the card base.

I die cut a square from the centre of a Whisper White card layer and adhered this to the card base.

Two additional smaller squares were cut from Fresh Fig card stock. These were adhered with dimensionals.

Leaves from the Rooted in Nature stamp set were stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink and die cut with the coordinating Framelits. These were added to each of the squares.

The sentiment was stamped onto a strip of card stock and adhered with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Daisy Tags

Hello Everyone,

Here’s something different from me today….. For this project I used three fabulous punches.

It took no time at all to make the base of these tags. The rest of the design could be any colour, any sentiment.

For the coloured card, I cut 2 by 4-3/4 inch strips.

I punched the top with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch.

For the bottom, I used the Detailed Trio Punch. This combines the rounder and the detail designs of the punch, (each corner needed to be punched twice).

The white portions measured 2 by 4 inches. The same punch was used for the top.

The Triple Banner Punch was used for the bottom.

For the stamping, I used second generation ink in matching colours, to add the daisies. Sahara Sand was used for the centres.

The sentiment was taken from the Well Said set and heat embossed in gold.

The two pieces were adhered together with snail. The top was ever so slightly off set to reveal some of the base colour.

The tags were finished with Polka Dot Tulle ribbon.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.
