Birthday Sails

Hello Everyone,

I hope you has a great weekend!

Today’s project features the Lilypad Lake stamp set with a sentiment from Well Said.

I wanted a soft colour palette so I stamped the outline of the boats with Basic Grey ink. The sails were coloured with Stampin Blends markers.

Pool Party ink was used to stamp the ‘water’ on to a card layer.

The sentiment was stamped and die cut and adhered to the card first, followed by the boats, using dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.I would love to be your demonstrator.

To See Far

Hello Everyone,

This stamp set was on my Product Purchase Premiere last year! New products before anyone else is just one perk of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator that attends an On Stage event.

Find out about becoming a demonstrator here

I used some different colours for this one, plumping for Highland Heather for the watery background.

The sentiment was added next using Lovely Lipstick ink. I used the same colour card stock to layer on to. This was adhered to a Gray Granite card base.

The heron and water lilies were stamped with Gray Granite ink and coloured with Stampin’ Blends. I used the coordinating dies to cut the images and added them to the card front with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Inspire.Create #039

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Every other Monday I share my project that I have used as my entry for the Inspire.Create challenge.

This time it’s a theme challenge. The design team have made some wonderful samples as inspiration. You can see them here.

Well this is a challenge… After a rummage in my stash, I found a goldfish image in the Jar of Love stamp set, so I made a tank for them.

The back drop was made with a stamp from the Lily Pad Lake set. The weeds are partially stamped foliage from Jar of Love.

A Stitched Rectangle was used to cut an aperture in a white card layer. This was added over top with dimensionals.

The fishes were stamped and die cut and added to the ‘tank’.

By chance, the greeting “best fishes” was included in the set. I added this with Pumpkin Pie ink.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Three Boats #GDP158

Hi there Everyone,

It’s Wednesday, so it’s time for a Global Design Project challenge.

This week is a sketch challenge and as usual the design team have made some wonderful projects to inspire us. See them all here!

I have pulled out the Lilypad Lake bundle. I liked the idea of having three little boats across the card.

I chose a neutral card base of Sahara Sand. A piece of Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper was adhered to the base with SNAIL adhesive.

Sahara Sand ink was used to stamp the water on to a strip of Whisper White card stock. Some silver baker’s twine was tied around the piece before adding to the card with dimensionals.

The boats were stamped with Memento Ink and coloured with Stampin’ Blends markers to complement the paper in the background.

The sentiment was also stamped with Memento Ink and cut in to strips.

Some adhesive backed sequins were added to the background.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Getting There

Hello Everyone,

The project for today uses the new Lilypad Lake bundle.

I like to use the “small stamps” to make cards as they can get overlooked.

This card features the little sail boats, I thought the sentiment was just right.

I have used Whisper White card stock to stamp on measuring 3-3/4 by 5-1/4 inches.

A combination of Coastal Cabana and Balmy Blue ink was used to stamp the water. First, second and third generation stamping added depth and texture.

The sentiment was stamped so the first half lay on the horizon, with the second part off set to the right.

The boats were stamped with Poppy Parade and Gorgeous Grape inks. A blender pen was used to move the ink slightly to add a hint of colour to the sails.

These were die cut and adhered to the card, using a combination of snail and dimensionals.

The panel was added to Tranquil Tide card stock and then on to a Very Vanilla card base.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below. They will be available to purchase from 1st June.

If you don’t have a copy of the new catalogue, please contact me and I will send one out to you free of charge!

Thanks for stopping by today and Happy Stampin’!
