Daisy Tags

Hello Everyone,

Here’s something different from me today….. For this project I used three fabulous punches.

It took no time at all to make the base of these tags. The rest of the design could be any colour, any sentiment.

For the coloured card, I cut 2 by 4-3/4 inch strips.

I punched the top with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch.

For the bottom, I used the Detailed Trio Punch. This combines the rounder and the detail designs of the punch, (each corner needed to be punched twice).

The white portions measured 2 by 4 inches. The same punch was used for the top.

The Triple Banner Punch was used for the bottom.

For the stamping, I used second generation ink in matching colours, to add the daisies. Sahara Sand was used for the centres.

The sentiment was taken from the Well Said set and heat embossed in gold.

The two pieces were adhered together with snail. The top was ever so slightly off set to reveal some of the base colour.

The tags were finished with Polka Dot Tulle ribbon.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Daisy Delight C.A.S.E. Card

Hi Everyone,

Today’s post is a little different. I have cased another member of the team, Carol Ann Pendleton. She had made a beautiful card with the Daisy Delight stamp set, I wanted to make my own version.

The overall layout had been kept the same.

To make the background, Gray Granite ink was used to stamp the bubbles from the Playful Backgrounds stamp set.

Petal Pink Ink was used to stamp the Daisy. I also used this colour for the layering.

The small leaves were stamped with Granny Apple Green and Soft Sea Foam and fussy cut. Additional leaves were made with the Leaf punch.

Fresh Fig Ruffled ribbon was adhered behind the Daisy.

A sentiment was stamped in Fresh Fig ink and tucked under the flower.

Finally, a clear faceted gem was adhered to the Daisy centre and Petal Pink pearls were added to the background.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Daisy Trio #FMS334

Hi there Everyone,

It’s Friday again and that means a Freshly Made Sketch challenge entry.

This sketch leaves plenty of room for interpretation. You can see what the design team made here!

Here is my entry;

I decided to keep this very simple.

Some Delightful Daisy designer series paper was adhered to a Whisper White card base.

Three daisies were stamped with Soft Sky ink. These were punched out along with an additional three plain daisies.

These were adhered together and added to the card front. A clear faceted gem was placed in the centre of each flower.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Daisy Fancy Fold Card

Good Morning,

Welcome to February’s InspireInk blog hop. The theme for this month is:-

Fancy Fold

I decided to make a stepper style card and the Daisy Delight suite of products.

The card base was cut at the usual 4-1/8 (10.5cm).

Then score the long side as follows using the Stampin’ Trimmer:

At 12.5cm, 23.4cm and 25.8cm score down to 2.5cm.

Rotate the card 180 degrees and then score at 15cm down to 8cm.

Turn the card to the short side. Make a cut between upper and lower most short score lines.

Gently fold along the score lines and the card will take shape. Burnish the creases.

Mats were cut from Wisteria Wonder card stock. These measure;

7.6cm by 14.6cm

3.5cm by 9.8cm

2.1cm by 10.4cm

The corresponding DSP layers measure;

7.2cm by 14.2cm

9.5cm by 3.1cm

1.9cm by 10.1cm

Four daisies were stamped and punched. These were adhered together in pairs to form two full flowers.

The sentiments were stamped in Calypso Coral ink.

Fresh as a Daisy. #GDP106

Hi Everyone,

Today I am having a go at the Global Design Project, #GDP106. You can see what the design team came up with here.

This week is a sketch challenge.

I made the card base from Fresh Fig card stock and added Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper.

I cut another Whisper White layer slightly smaller. To this I added a 2 1/2 inch piece of Fresh Floral DSP to the bottom.

Before adhering to the card, I used a scalloped circle die to create an aperture.

I stamped Daisy Delight three times on to some vellum, and added clear embossing powder. The flowers were layered together with glue dots. A clear faceted gem was placed in the centre, and adhered to the card with a dimensional.

The sentiment from the set was stamped on to the banner in versamark ink and heat embossed with white powder. A small bow was tied from Whisper White sheer ribbon.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Pretty in Pink

Good Morning,

I do love the Daisy Delight stamp set and matching punch. Quick and beautiful results every time.

The card base is made from Pink Pirouette card stock. The tiny daisy motif was added along both long edges with matching ink. It’s subtle but gives it a little something.

The white layer is narrower than usual, just 2 3/4 inches wide. This was stamped with a motif from the Dare to Dream hostess set.

The sentiment is from Daisy Delight and stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink. This was adhered flat to the card base.

I stamped the daisy twice and punched these plus a plain white one. These were shaped using a ball tool and foam mat, then layered together with glue dots.

I used the new punch to cut sine leaves from Colour Theory DSP.

The elements were arranged on the card and some white enamel accents finish it off.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online shop below.

Happy Stampin’!
