Adventure Begins #GDP183

Hello Everyone,

This week is a theme challenge!

See what the Design Team have created with the sketch here

And this is what I decided to make…. Let’s go fly a kite!

I prepared a white card base and stamped clouds with Smoky Slate ink.

The topper was made with Stitched Rectangle dies.

The kites from the Swirly Bird stamp set were stamped with the 2017 In Colours.

I picked out the sentiment from the Treehouse Adventure set which was stamped in Fresh Fig ink and cut with a Stitched Rectangle die.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy Stampin’!

You’re Awesome

Hello Everyone,

Today I am taking part in the Inspire.Create.Challenge.

This week the theme is Kids!

The design team have provided some inspiration on the blog. You can see their projects here!

I have chosen to use the Treehouse Adventure stamp set. Every kid dreams of one of these right?

The stamping has been kept simple, using various brown inks. The canopy was stamped with Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green. Pacific Point was used as an accent colour.

I cut down the panel and rounded the corners.

A piece of Gray Granite designer series paper was cut diagonally for added interest.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy Stampin’!

Adventure

Hello Everyone,

Isn’t this a fun stamp set! This cute little house can be whatever colour you like, up in the tree or down on the ground.

My little cabin is hidden away in the woods!

The images have been stamped on to a 2-1/2 inch strip of Whisper White card stock.

The house was stamped with Miky Slate, Calypso Coral and Pool Party inks.

Additional tree canopies were stamped and cut out separately to add extra dimension.

The sentiment was added with Smoky Slate ink. The corners of the panel were rounded with the Detailed Trio punch.

A strip of Pool Party DSP was adhered to the left hand side of a Smoky Slate card base. The stamped panel was then positioned over the top using dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.
