Let’s Play with the It’s a Science Stamp Set

Hello Everyone,

You may or may not know, that I have a science background, so I just HAD to buy this stamp set!

I’m keeping it simple with some colouring chemistry with Stampin’ Blends markers.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

There are no dies with this set, but the shapes are easy to fussy cut out.

I’ve used Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie, Fresh Freesia and Lemon Lime Twist to colour the contents of the flasks, beakers and test tubes.

The sentiments were stamped with Sweet Sorbet and Starry Sky.

I have chosen to share this simple card featuring the Cheerful Daisies bundle.

For this project I have focussed on the dies, to create the layered flowers.

The layering and stamped flower centres used a new In Colour, Wild Wheat. Mossy Meadow was used to colour the leaves and stamp the sentiment.

This version uses Copper Clay and Shaded Spruce.

Each card was decorated with the metallic Elegant Trim and some rhinestones.

Bright Birthday Card with Two Tone Flora

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card combines a mini catalogue favourite with some new colours!

By choosing to use the floral colours for the card base and layering, the card is brighter and cheerier than the original.

Ombre Background with the Best Label Punch

Hello Everyone,

Today I am using this cute Best Label punch to create a background.

I have chosen an ombre style with a series of colours down the card.

This design is a fab scrap buster card too… Just pick your favourite colours!

I did rectify my upside down card from the video by cutting off the front and trimming it to fit on a fresh card base 🙂

Quick Stash Busting Cards with Retiring Colours!

Hello Everyone,

Today I’m bringing you an idea to use up your cardstock stash. I’m using up retiring colours too.

Eleven colours from the main collection are retiring. These samples use Sahara Sand, Bermuda Bay and Rick Razzleberry. The others are listed at end of this post.

The Biggest Wish stamp set makes quick, bold cards and brilliant for the guys too!

I also used the wonderful Stamparatus tool, sadly this is also retiring and no longer available.

Exactly the same process was used for all the cards – this is Rich Razzleberry!

Here are all the other cards using Merry Merlot, Pear Pizzazz, Mango Melody, Pacific Point, Blushing Bride, So Saffron, Soft Suede and Mint Macaron!

Something nice and simple for today using a favourite stamp set and coordinating punch!

I picked the lovely Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia for this happy and bright birthday card.

The design can be muted down for other occasions. This combo uses Gray Granite and So Saffron.

Textured Card using the Queen Bee Dies

Hello Everyone,

Sometimes I like to “go to town” on a card project! So this card is packed with texture from a bunch of dies cuts and I’ve thrown in some hest embossing too!

A variety of green cardstocks were used to make the wreath background which was embellished with Rich Razzleberry flowers.

This version uses a Sahara Sand card base and Highland Heather flowers.

The Layering Diorama dies create an aperture and focal point for the mountain scene.

Hello Everyone,

This colour combo reminds of a sunset on a summer’s evening!

The black layer ties the embossing and sentiment together.

This card takes on a completely different look by using these deeper colours. White embossing would look good too!

Simple Colouring with the Amazing Year Stamp Set

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card project features the Amazing Year stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! 2022 Annual Catalogue.

The main image is perfect for colouring with your favourite medium. I’ve chosen to use Stampin’ Blends.

This combo uses Mossy Meadow, Old Olive and Highland Heather.

I used the Glitter Organdy Ribbon and Iridescent Rhinestones to embellish the card.

This sample uses the 2021 in colours, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Polished Pink.

I am working with the Shaded Summer stamp set and coordinating Summer Shadows dies for my project.

This is a variation on yesterday’s Inspire.Create.Challenge design team post!

First, second and third generation stamping was used to create the background.

The Double Oval punch not only cut the sentiment, but also served to introduce the final colour in the combo!

This version uses a Crumb Cake card base. Love this one!

I used the Positive Thoughts stamp set and matching Nature’s Thoughts dies for my project…

A you h of ink emphasises the stamped panel and adding dimension to the butterflies adds even more interest to the layout.
