Let’s Play with the It’s a Science Stamp Set

Hello Everyone,

You may or may not know, that I have a science background, so I just HAD to buy this stamp set!

I’m keeping it simple with some colouring chemistry with Stampin’ Blends markers.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

There are no dies with this set, but the shapes are easy to fussy cut out.

I’ve used Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie, Fresh Freesia and Lemon Lime Twist to colour the contents of the flasks, beakers and test tubes.

The sentiments were stamped with Sweet Sorbet and Starry Sky.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #121 – Colour Challenge

Hello Everyone

Welcome to my blog! Today’s post is my design team project for the Inspire.Create.Challenge!

This time we have this amazing colour combination to work with!

You can see the other design team projects and participate in the challenge HERE

I created my card with the Framed Occasions stamp set, accented with the Flowers of Friendship.

There is a coordinating punch for these flowers which makes them a little easier to work with! You can of course fussy cut the flowers if you prefer.

Whilst there is no “green” in this combo, I thought I could get away with using the Pool Party and Bermuda Bay for the foliage. I think it worked out really well with the other colours.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial…

I’ll confess Pale Papaya isn’t my favourite colour so I kept it as an accent to the sentiment and brought it through in the ribbon and card base.

This sample uses the Pool Party Sheer ribbon and the rhinestones were coloured in Poppy Parade.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

The masks overlay each other to create the design, but could equally be used individually.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

I added simple sentiments accented with Stylish Shapes die cuts.

This version uses Sahara Sand and Starry Sky inks for a more masculine look.

Which colour combination would you use?
