Welcome to my blog! Today’s post is my design team project for the Inspire.Create.Challenge!
This time we have this amazing colour combination to work with!
You can see the other design team projects and participate in the challenge HERE
I created my card with the Framed Occasions stamp set, accented with the Flowers of Friendship.
There is a coordinating punch for these flowers which makes them a little easier to work with! You can of course fussy cut the flowers if you prefer.
Whilst there is no “green” in this combo, I thought I could get away with using the Pool Party and Bermuda Bay for the foliage. I think it worked out really well with the other colours.

I’ll confess Pale Papaya isn’t my favourite colour so I kept it as an accent to the sentiment and brought it through in the ribbon and card base.
This sample uses the Pool Party Sheer ribbon and the rhinestones were coloured in Poppy Parade.
I hope you enjoyed this project.

Today’s card project is all about the background. This is so easy to do with the Artistic Mix masks and totally customisable for the needs of the project!
The masks overlay each other to create the design, but could equally be used individually.

I added simple sentiments accented with Stylish Shapes die cuts.
This version uses Sahara Sand and Starry Sky inks for a more masculine look.
Which colour combination would you use?

I fancied doing some colouring today so I’ve reached for a new stamp set called Fresh Cut Flowers. Whilst there is a lot of excitement over our new in colours, I’m using last year’s for these delicate flowers.
You can see the colouring process in my video tutorial…. Grab a cuppa… It’s a long one!
There are some lovely embossed details in the Beautiful Shapes dies!
Here is the Pale Papaya version. Which is your favourite?
I hope you enjoyed this project.

Jill has incorporated elements from a Tic Tac Toe board to include in her fantastic Christmas card….
Inspiration can come from just about anywhere…. And today’s card was inspired by some leftover pieces of Designer Series Paper that I discovered when tidying my craft table!
I decided to use the Art Gallery stamp set and dies to create the cards.

I love the pop of colour from the Polished Pink flower head!
This sample uses Pale Papaya, coordinating not only the DSP but the bloom too!
And here is Fresh Freesia!
I hope you enjoyed this project.

It’s as if Stampin’ Up! made this suite just for me! My favourite colour Blackberry Bliss, gorgeous gold ribbon and vellum and owls on the speciality paper and in the ephemera pack!
This is definitely a collection suited to the extravagant cards to show off on the mantle piece.

What I love the purples I’ve also used the Early Espresso and Cinnamon Cider too, this combination is much more appealing in real life…
Here’s a close up of the original sample!

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure what I would do with this stamp set!
Once I started playing with it, I really liked it. The image are easy to line up and make this cute winter scene to use on it’s own or with the cloche dies.

The Peaceful Place designer series paper looks wonderful in this design.
The sentiment strips were cut with one of the “Pick a Punch” tools!
I hope you enjoyed this project.
