Inspire.Create.Challenge #112 – Colour Challenge!

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my blog post today showcasing my Design Team project for the new Inspire.Create.Challenge.

This time we are using a colour challenge to inspire our creations!

Stop by the Inspire.Create.Challenges blog to see all the Design Team projects and upload your entry. We’d love to see your projects.

I have chosen to work with a mixture of products to add layers and texture to my design.

The flowers from the Sentimental Swirls stamp set are so versatile and look lovely in any colour!

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

I opted to use Ornate Thanks for the sentiment and used the same Just Jade ink to enhance the embossed background and makes the die cut stand out.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

My cards have been kept very simple focusing on the fabulous designer series papers Stampin’ Up! has to offer.

The narrow section is the perfect place for a bold sentiment. I used the Ornate Thanks set.

With so many papers to choose from, I went to town and made a whole bunch of cards in no time!

The paper packs I used were;

  • Simply Elegant
  • Expressions in Ink
  • Hand-penned
  • Sweet Symmetry
  • Pansy Petals

I made 10 cards altogether! Which cards do you like best?

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Monday Colour Challenge with Under My Umbrella

Hello Everyone,

Here we are at Monday again and another colour challenge!

This week’s combo is;

  • Soft Suede
  • Shaded Spruce
  • So Saffron

I don’t use Soft Sueded and So saffron very often. After rummaging through the retiring stamp sets I settled on using Under My Umbrella to make a first floral background.

See how I made this card in my video tutorial….

So what do we think? Which do you prefer? If I’d have had enough Shaded Spruce cardstock I would tried that too! Lol!

Here’s a close up of the So Saffron version!

I hope you enjoyed this project.
