Tone on Tone Stamping with the Queen Anne’s Lace stamp set

Hello Everyone,

I’m working with Queen Anne’s Lace today and you can get this set for FREE when you join Stampin’ Up! during September! Follow the link at the bottom of this post…

I chose to work with a tone on tone technique, using Gray Granite and Basic Gray.

A pop of Petal Pink and white lift the layout and give the card a feminine feel.

Double Heat Embossing with the Today’s Tiles stamp set

Hello Everyone,

I trying out something fun with heat embossing today, I’m calling it double embossing!

Step one, heat emboss with clear powder.

Step two, heat emboss with coloured powder.

In this example I chose silver, this could also have been white!

I ended up using Rich Razzleberry card stock, but would have preferred to use Blackberry Bliss.

This is the original sample using Very Vanilla, Terracotta Tile and Cinnamon Cider.

I used gold powder for step two!

Blended Postage Stamps

Hello Everyone,

I am experimenting with a different layout using Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch today.

I think I may have gone a little overboard with the dimension on this one, but I do like how the 4 rectangles came together in to a square shape.

The images were coloured with Stampin’ Blends markers, so the line art was stamped with water based Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I added some mess free glitter with a Wink of Stella glitter brush pen and a few pearls completed the card!

Hello Everyone,

Something tropical for today using Timeless Tropical and coordinating In the Tropics dies.

I used the Stamparatus tool to stamp the palm trees. This helped achieve a multicoloured image.

An alternative would be to use Stampin’ Write markers.

Birthday Card using the Beauty Abounds stamp set

This card has been inspired by the technique used by Ruth at Artful Stampin’… she has loads of videos on creating backgrounds in this style. I hope she approves of the colours I chose!

Vintage Lace

I have had this set for ages and never used it….. That is until today?

This was just a quick and easy card straight out the box!

I went with a vintage style choosing Cinnamon Cider and Early Espresso for my colour scheme.
