Inspire.Create.Challenge #095

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Today I am featuring my Design Team project for the Inspire.Create.Challenge

Our challenge this time is a sketch!

You can see all the other design team projects here You can also add your own project to the gallery!

My card uses the Pansy Patch stamp set and Pansy Petals designer series paper. I have rotated the sketch to make a portrait design.

I love the gingham prints in the paper pack!

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

The ribbon was the perfect width to cover the gap across the middle of the card and the scalloped edge of the layering circles dies draws the eye to the sentiment.

Here are the Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent versions!

My favourite is Fresh Freesia, which is yours?

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Monday Colour Challenge with Watercolour Shapes

Hello Everyone,

Monday is here again…. so it’s time for a colour challenge!

This week’s colours are;

  • Night of Navy
  • Merry Merlot
  • Pacific Point

I’d already decided that I was going to work with the Watercolour Shapes stamp set regardless off the colours that came out.

You can see how I made my cards in my video tutorial….

I think they worked out quite well in the end and I do love the bold sentiments in the Biggest Wish set!

The original samples were made using the skinny rectangle shape.

The Merry Merlot sentiment is my favourite, which is yours?

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Rainbow Bloom Wreath

Hello Everyone,

I thought I would make something fun and bright today, so I pulled out the Brights cardstock and started punching!

I used the Small Bloom punch in the annual catalogue for my flowers which I layered on to a die cut scalloped circle!

See how I made this card in my video tutorial…..

I definitely prefer this layout to the original.

Look out for the Opal Rounds in the new Mini Catalogue coming on 5th January.

If you need a catalogue, live in the UK and don’t already shop with a demonstrator, I’d be happy to send one out to you!

Sale items are selling out fast!

Coming soon…..

Pretty Floral Thank You Card

Hello Everyone,

This card was inspired by a card I saw on Instagram by @annenkortit

I thought the layout of her card was really pretty, I hope I have done it justice!

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

I love the grey and green colour combination! What do you think?

My original interpretation had a more festive feel, using Poinsettia dies instead of the small bloom punch.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Hello Everyone,

Something tropical for today using Timeless Tropical and coordinating In the Tropics dies.

I used the Stamparatus tool to stamp the palm trees. This helped achieve a multicoloured image.

An alternative would be to use Stampin’ Write markers.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

More from Nature’s Poem

Hello Everyone,

While I had my Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper out yesterday I also made this card too!

I used a Mint Macaron card base with a Whisper White card layer.

Three Stitched Squares were cut and mounted on to some Mint Macaron card stock.

The sentiment was stamped with Mint Macaron ink and surrounded with leaves stamped with Soft Sea Foam ink. This was die cut with a Layering Circle die.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.I would love to be your demonstrator. Don’t miss out on these last chance items…. When they’re gone, they’re gone!
