Making My Dad’s Birthday Card

Hello Everyone,

Here’s another quick card for the chaps in our lives…

For this project, the card base has been simply decorated by layering patterned paper and coloured cardstock.

This formula can be adapted very easily to suit the needs of the project you are making!

The Stitched So Sweetly dies make a simple sentiment topper and a bit of Wink of Stella adds some shine without being too feminine!

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Scrapbusting with the Tailored Tag Punch

Hello Everyone,

I don’t know about you, but I have a tonne of designer series paper to use up.

The papers currently available in the annual catalogue are likely to retire to make way for more beautiful things to come, so if there are any you want to stock up on, now is the time before they sell out!

A personal favourite is the Playing with Patterns pack. It’s full of bright colours suitable for all occasions.

I have used the Tailored Tag Punch to make a fun background with these papers. I used most of the designs for my card, but you could pick out a colour theme just as easily!

See how I made this card in my video tutorial….

Orientating the punch shapes gives each card a different look.

The sentiment is taken from the Round of Applause stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Suite Mix – Fine Art Florals & Playing with Patterns

Hello Everyone,

I usually share projects made with a single bundle or suite, but today I’m mixing and matching!

Using other products can stretch the versatility of your stash or help achieve a different look to your finished project.

I’ve worked with the Art Gallery bundle and the Playing with Patterns designer series paper.

See how I made this card in my video tutorial….

I’d love to know which suites you would put together!

Here’s a close up of the original sample. I love the Purple Post ribbon and those dies!

I hope you enjoyed this project.
