Clean and Simple Card featuring Inspiring Iris

Here’s something super simple for today’s card. This one features another overlooked stamp set, Inspiring Iris.

This is two step stamping set, although, the images can also be coloured with other mediums too.

I quite like the addition of the Melon Mambo on this carnation.

Simple Two Step Stamping with Inspiring Iris

Stamped Background using the Inspiring Iris stamp set

Hello Everyone,

I fancied creating my own stamped panel today.

The great thing about this is how customisable it is…. These flowers could be any colour or indeed left uncoloured to suit your project.

I have used Sahara Sand, So Saffron and Soft Sea Foam as my subtle colour palette.

See how I made this card in my video tutorial….

I used a slightly different ribbon on the original card, but felt it was a bit lost on the busy background.

Champagne rhinestones really finish them off, so pretty!

Hugs & Prayers

Hello Everyone,

Sometimes we have to send cards for sad occasions too.

This sympathy card was made for lovely friend with the Inspiring Iris stamp set.

The outline image was stamped with black ink leaving room to add the sentiment.

Highland Heather and Pear Pizzazz inks were used to add the coloured portions.

The sentiment was cut with the Timeless Label Punch and adhered with dimensionals.

Hello Everyone,

So sometimes less is more… And with this card I have left lots of white space, leaving the focus on the centre.

The flower is from the Inspiring Iris set. I really like carnations so I chose this image to work with.

Tis is a two srep step stamp set, the outline was, stamped first with Basic Gray. Colour was added with the coordinating images with Old Olive and Flirty Flamingo inks.

The sentiment was stamped to the right, though now I think underneath would have looked better.

I ended up die cutting the image with a Stitched Rectangle die.

A white card layer was also die cut to create a stitched border. I then decided a coloured background was need to make the centre panel pop.

A piece of Crumb Cake card stock was inlaid on to the card base before adding the main image with dimensionals.
