Wonderful Rococo Rose

Hello Everyone,

Do you like the flowers I have used on my card today?

Read on to find out how I made them.

I started by making a Whisper White card base and embossed it with the Subtle embossing folder.

The background leaves were cut from vellum using a die from the, Well Written Die set.

I chose the sentiment from the Rooted in Nature stamp set and cut this with a Stitched Rectangle Die.

For the flowers I first cut circles with the Scalloped circle punches. The circles were then cut again using the Medium Daisy Punch.

The smaller flower was adhered to the larger one and a Rococo Rose faceted gem was added to the centre.

Some Soft Sea Foam leaves completed the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Quick Cards featuring Twinkle Twinkle DSP (part 2)

Hi there,

On Friday I shared some quick cards using the Twinkle Twinkle DSP. Today’s card use the same technique with a slightly different layout.

I have picked three sheetsof Twinkle Twinkle DSP with a predominant base colour, (Whisper White, Pool Party and Night of Navy).

Each of the coordinating card stock colours were used to make a standard card base. The front was then embossed with the Subtle Embossing folder.

DSP was cut to 3 inches by 2 inches. A piece of white card was cut to make a layer behind the paper. The panel was then adhered towards the top right corner of the card base.

I wanted a bold sentiment so I picked out “thanks” from the Friendly Expressions Stamp set. This was stamped with coordinating ink, trimmed to size and added to the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Hi Everyone,

It’s Wednesday which means Global Design Project entry time.

The theme this week is….

You can see what the design team have created here

I have kept this card very neutral in tone, choosing Very Vanilla as a base. Wood Textures designer series paper was adhered to the front.

A smaller panel of card stock was embossed using the subtle embossing folder.

A combination of circle punches and the Everyday Label punch were used to build the topper.

Linen Thread loops added a natural texture.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.
