Inspire.Create.Challenges #123 – Sketch Challenge with Dragonfly Garden

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my blog today sharing with you my design team project for the Inspire.Create.Challenges blog!

Our challenge this time is to use this card sketch.

I chose to use some ink blending to create the vertical panel.

This colour combo reminds of a sunset on a summer’s evening!

The black layer ties the embossing and sentiment together.

This card takes on a completely different look by using these deeper colours. White embossing would look good too!

Some simple layering and a punched sentiment is all you need to make the finished cards.

The backgrounds are really easy to create. I made a number of them in no time and it was so much fun!

I loved this combo using a selection of the 2022 in colours!

Colour Combo Blog Hop October

I’ve chosen the Artistically Inked bundle for my project. I love the distinctive stamps, they make watercolour style backgrounds so much easier!

Basic Gray makes a perfect neutral base card for the design, making the accent colours pop!

Swapping the way the colours are used gives a different look, using the same products!
