Stamped Background using the Inspiring Iris stamp set

Hello Everyone,

I fancied creating my own stamped panel today.

The great thing about this is how customisable it is…. These flowers could be any colour or indeed left uncoloured to suit your project.

I have used Sahara Sand, So Saffron and Soft Sea Foam as my subtle colour palette.

See how I made this card in my video tutorial….

I used a slightly different ribbon on the original card, but felt it was a bit lost on the busy background.

Champagne rhinestones really finish them off, so pretty!

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Hello Everyone,

Today’s project is for a Facebook colour challenge!

Aren’t they gorgeous!

I knew I wanted use flowers and settled on the Small Bloom Punch.

The background was made using the Many Medallions die. The coordinating stamp set, Many Mates, was used for the sentiment.

I also used the Stamparatus tool to create this multicoloured sentiment.

See how I made this card in my video tutorial….

Vellum sprigs and clear rhinestones completed the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Mini Catalogue Card Swap – What did I make?

Hello Everyone,

One of great things about being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is sharing creativity and ideas both with my customers and the rest of the team.

At each catalogue launch we do a card swap… By exchanging cards we share ideas, discover new techniques, and sometimes realise there’s something we didn’t see in the catalogue!

See how I made my batch of cards, you may be surprised at which stamp bundle was used….

The Shimmery White card stock is so pretty in real life!

You Mean Everything To Me

Hello Everyone,

I used this stamp set for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I had some other ideas on how to use it, and this is one of them.

See how I made this card in my video tutorial…

Embellishments can be customised with the Stampin’ Blends markers. I did this with the ribbon and the pearls for a fully coordinated look. They would have looked great left in white too!

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Blended Postage Stamps

Hello Everyone,

I am experimenting with a different layout using Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch today.

I think I may have gone a little overboard with the dimension on this one, but I do like how the 4 rectangles came together in to a square shape.

The images were coloured with Stampin’ Blends markers, so the line art was stamped with water based Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

See how I made this card in my video tutorial…

I added some mess free glitter with a Wink of Stella glitter brush pen and a few pearls completed the card!

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Clean & Simple featuring Butterfly Gala

Hello Everyone,

White space gives cards a simple but sophisticated look.

I have used my usual ‘card formula’ for today’s project…

Card Base, A4 cut lengthways at 4-1/8 inches and score at 5-7/8 inches.

Card Layer, 4 by 5-3/4 inches

Small Mat, 3-1/8 by 4-7/8 inches

Small Card Layer, 3 by 4-3/4

The card layer was embossed for texture and interest.

Outline images don’t have to be stamped in black ink, I used Basic Grey and Early Espresso.

See how I made today’s cards in my video tutorial….

I hope you enjoyed this project.

InspireInk Blog Hop – 2020-2022 In Colours

Good Morning Everybody,

Welcome to this month’s InspireINK blog hop. This time we have a colour challenge to play with.

Please be sure to click through all the projects in the hop by clicking on the link below.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

Click here to see the other entries!

For my design, I used post it notes to mask off sections of the cardstock to create a striped background.

The grid paper helped plan where the masks needed to be placed.

Stampin’ Sponges were used to apply the ink to each section. More colour was used along the left hand edge for an ombre look.

The vellum panel is 3 inches wide and long enough to wrap around the striped panel and secure with tape.

The “happy” die was added over the top with multipurpose glue.

Coordinating inks are used to stamp the rest of the greeting. Flag ends were punched with the Tailored Tag punch and adhered with dimensionals.

Small Blooms were cut from Whisper White card stock with a matching enamel dot placed in the centres.

You can see how the card was made in my video tutorial…

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.
