Colour & Contour Colour Challenge!

Hello Everyone,

I’ve made this card for the September #sucolourchallenge!

I chose to use the Colour &Contour bundle with this fresh, Spring/Summer palette…

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

The Stitched Greenery die creates a beautiful background that compliments the rest of the design….

The paper trimmer came in handy to cut a panel for the centre of the die cut.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Another Colour Challenge with the Lots of Heart Bundle

Hello Everyone,

I couldn’t resist this colour challenge…. Any excuse to use my favourite colour!

  • Bermuda Bay
  • Crumb Cake
  • Sahara Sand
  • Basic Black

I pulled out the Lots of Heart stamp set and coordinating dies to make my card.

This stamp set is retiring at the end of the month and currently still available at half price!

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial…

Mixing up the colours worked well too. You might even stretch to give this card to a guy … Perhaps exchanging the Bermuda Bay for Night of Navy or Misty Moonlight

I love the pop of colour with this arrangement. I think this would work with a variety of colours.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

May SU Colour Challenge

Hello Everyone,

I made this card ages ago and completely forgot to share it!

I have to different ink blending methods to create this project.

I also used the amazing Tropic Chic stamp set which is sadly retiring. To achieve the gradient colour on the leaves, I used the Stamparatus tool, inking and stamping each image twice.

Here is video showing how to create a blended background!

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

April SU colour challenge

Hello Everyone,

Time for another colour challenge. This is a Facebook group challenge, just for fun, to stretch the creativity.

My card also features retiring products, Perennial Birthday stamp set, the Pretty Label Punch and Call Me Clover ink.

I started by adding a band of colour across a white card layer using a stamping sponge and wrapping some polka dot ribbon around it.

The flowers and foliage were added next and the panel was adhered to a white card base.

The sentiment was stamped with Call Me Clover ink and punched with the Pretty Label punch.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Mountain Air

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card features the Mountain Air bundle. I love the samples that pictured in the catalogue and couldn’t wait to try it out.

I also combined it with a Facebook colour challenge.

I stared by stamping the mountains with Sahara Sand ink, followed by the tree line with Cajun Craze ink.

Some Balmy Blue and Sahara Sand inks were were lightly sponged over the top and bottom respectively. This was emphasised by layering the panel on to Whisper White card stock.

Pretty Peacock ink was used to stamp the trees which were cut with the coordinating dies.

The pieces were adhered to a Balmy Blue card base.

A simple sentiment from the Label Me Bold stamp set completed the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Butterfly Grove

Hello Everyone,

Today I am revisiting a favourite set from the annual catalogue for a colour challenge;

This one had me stumped and this was the third attempt at something I liked. I think the Grapefruit Grove was the sticking point but found a way to use it without overpowering the design.

I stamped the butterflies with Night of Navy ink. Seaside Spray and Coastal Cabana inks were used to fill in the images. These were cut with the coordinating punch.

Grapefruit Grove ink was used for the sentiment and cut with a Stitched Rectangle die.

I built up the card layers and added the sentiment with dimensionals. Three butterflies were adhered with multipurpose glue with the wings bent up for extra texture.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

CAS Colours and Sketches #356

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Today I am sharing my project for the CAS Colours and Sketches challenge.

This time it’s a colour challenge. The design team have made some wonderful samples as inspiration. You can see them here

I wanted to create something different…. And this is it!

I used the Tailored Tag punch to cut shapes from Real Red, Flirty Flamingo and Silver Glimmer card stock. These were adhered to a piece of white card stock.

The excess was trimmed away and layered with more glimmer paper before adding to a white card base.

Real Red ink was used to stamp the sentiment which was also cut with the Tailored Tag punch. This was adhered with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

More Thoughtful Blooms

Hello Everyone,

I just love this stamp set and punch! There are so many colour combinations I want to try. This combo was suggested by the SU colour challenge Facebook group!

Merry Merlot, Lovely Lipstick, Sahara Sand & Granny Apple Green.

I started with Granny Apple Green, stamping the leaf clusters over some Whisper White card stock.

Merry Merlot was used to add the small flowers to the open stems. The spaces were filled with the tiny elements in the stamp set using Sahara Sand ink.

Lovely Lipstick and Sahara Sand card stock was added to a white card base. The stamped panel was trimmed down and adhered with dimensionals.

The blooms were stamped with Lovely Lipstick ink and punched out. Champagne rhinestones were added to the centres.

The sentiment was die cut using the Ornate Frames set. This was adhered with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.
