Autumn Birthday

Good Morning,

Here’s a lovely autumnal birthday card.

The card base was made with Cajun Craze card stock and layered with Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla card stock.

The large leaf was die cut from Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze card stocks. The layers were adhered with liquid glue and added to the card with dimensionals.

Happy was cut from Pumpkin Pie card stock. This was secured to a Very Vanilla circle. Dimensionals were placed behind the circle and adhered to the card.

A small banner stamped with Pumpkin Pie completed the sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Just Add Ink #433

Hello Everyone,

This week’s Just Add Ink challenge is……

As always the design team have made some wonderful samples. Take a look here and get inspired.

This is my project.

I have left plenty of white space on this design to really make the challenge colours pop.

Using lemon Lime Twist and Blueberry Bushel inks I created the lovely unique snowflakes. These were die cut along with the medium snowflake.

The sentiment was cut with the Christmas Traditions Punch and the bow added some extra texture.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Quick Christmas card set

Hi Everyone,

Today I thought I would share this little set of cards. I made 5 of them in total.

I began by Stamping the large background stamp from the Beautiful Blizzard set along the score line of these narrow note cards with Balmy Blue ink.

Blueberry Bushel ink was used to add snowflakes to the cards and envelopes. I also stamped the sentiment on to strips of white card stock.

Two Die cut snowflakes were adhered to each of the cards with Multipurpose glue. A rhinestone was added to the centres.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Blizzard of Wishes #FMS361

Good Morning,

We have made to Friday once again so here is this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge entry.

As always you can see inspiration from the design team here

I just had to use the new Snow is Glistening stamp set and Snowfall dies for this project.

I chose a pink and silver colour scheme, I think it worked really well.

First, I stamped the small snowflake cluster across a white card layer and adhered this to a white card base.

A 2 by 4 inch piece of glimmer paper was added on the right hand side.

The flurry Die was used to cut white card stock. Liquid glue secured this in place.

The sentiment was then stamped on to strip of card stock which I added with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Snowfall

Hello Everybody,

Here is another look at the upcoming limited edition products available from 1st November 2018.

There are so many dies in the collection, making it so easy to create a beautiful snowy scene.

Pool Party ink was used to stamp the tiny snowflakes on a Whisper White card base and card layer.

The layer was then matted with some Blueberry Bushel card stock and adhered to the card base.

The sentiment was stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink and trimmed to size. The width matched that of the card layer. This was adhered to the card with dimensionals.

A number of snowflakes were die cut and adhered with Multipurpose glue.

Finally, a small bow was added to the bottom of the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Coming Soon…..

Hi Everyone,

I have exciting news. 1st November sees the release of limited edition stamps and dies.

As a demonstrator, I have been able to purchase this early, and as you know, I adore snowflakes for Christmas card making.

This is the idea I am sharing today using a non traditional colour scheme.

First, I stamped the small snowflake cluster across the card using versamark ink and heat embossed with clear powder.

Soft Sea Foam ink was applied over the top with a sponge dauber.

The sentiment was also stamped with Soft Sea Foam ink and cut with the Everyday Label Punch.

The large snowflake was die cut from Whisper White card stock. I then embellished with faceted dots.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Cherry Cobbler ink was used to stamp the sentiment which was die cut.

The holly was stamped with Memento Ink and coloured with Stampin’ Blends. These were fussy cut.

Thank You #GDP161

Good Morning,

I love a colour challenge. Here’s this week’s Global Design Project’s selection.

See what the design team have made here

I am not generally a fan of yellow, so the Crushed Curry card stock has been pushed back behind the main card layer.

Leaves from the Colourful Season stamp set were added down the side of the panel. First, second and third generation ink added texture.

Pumpkin Pie card stock was cut with the Thank You Thinlit. A circle of vellum was put under the sentiment to lift it from the background.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Just Add Ink #431 Sketch Challenge

Good Morning,

Another sketch challenge coming at ya today courtesy of the Just Add Ink team.

You can see what the design team have made on the blog here

So….. I decided to put a “twist” on the sketch, mainly because I didn’t like the origin orientation with the design I chose.

I began by embossing a card layer with the Curls and Swirls embossing folder, and adhering this to a white card base.

A 1-1/4 inch strip of Frosted Floral DSP was adhered to some white card stock. Half a pearlized doily was then added to the back. The strip was then added to the card with dimensionals.

The additional elements were stamped with Mint Macaron or Highland Heather inks and Die cut with the coordinating Framelits. These were secured with a mix of Multipurpose glue and dimensionals.

Some basic adhesive sequins finished the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

The design team have made some wonderful samples as inspiration. Check them out here

And this is my festive project…

Shaded Spruce card stock has been used for the base.

Designer Series Paper panels were cut to 5 by 3-1/4 inches and layered on to Real Red mats 1/8 inches larger.

The panel was adhered with dimensionals.

The word “holidays” was die cut from glimmer paper… I forgot to add sticky sheet to mine, so used Multipurpose glue to add this to the card.

“happy” was heat embossed with gold powder on Real Red card stock.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Just Thanks #GDP160

Hello Everyone,

It’s Global Design Project challenge time. This week it’s a case the designer challenge from Krista.

The sample card is gorgeous… Using one of my most favourite stamp sets.

The design team have made some great projects based on Krista’s design. You can see them all here

I resisted using the same stamp set and instead pulled out Tropical Chic and the matching dies and paper.

Some patterned paper was adhered to a white card base.

On a separate white card layer, I stamped the palm leaves with Soft Sea Foam ink. This layer was added to the card with dimensionals.

On a separate scrap of card, the sentiment was stamped with Berry Burst ink. Powder Pink ink was used to add the stripes to the edge.

Another palm leaf was stamped in Shaded Spruce ink and die cut.

A small bow of Berry Burst Ruffled Ribbon was adhered with glue dots. Gold pearls completed the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Three Wise Men

Hello & Happy Sunday,

Today I am using the Illuminated Christmas stamp set and doing some ink blending.

I started by heat embossing the star in the top corner.

Sponge daubers were used to blend in the background, beginning with So Saffron for the star and working through Pool Party, Balmy Blue and Night of Navy inks. A chalk marker was used to add some other tiny “stars” in the sky.

The three Kings were stamped and coloured with Stampin’ Blends. A stitched circle was used to die cut the image.

The final step was to add the sentiment. This was done simply by stamping in black ink, trimming to size and adhering with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Just Add Vellum challenge #429

Hi Folks,

This week the Just Add Ink challenge is to add Vellum!

You can see inspiration from the design team here.

I love using Vellum… It is the perfect accent to add to the background of this card design.

Most of the design elements are all from the Falling Flowers stamp set and coordinating May Flowers dies.

I started by positioning a vellum die cut, securing it with some snail adhesive.

Flowers and leaves were stamped with Flirty Flamingo and Soft Sea Foam inks respectively. These were die cut and adhered with Multipurpose glue.

A rhinestone was added to each flower centre.

The sentiment from Wood Words was stamped with Shaded Spruce ink and cut using a 1-1/8 Scalloped circle punch.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Three Boats #GDP158

Hi there Everyone,

It’s Wednesday, so it’s time for a Global Design Project challenge.

This week is a sketch challenge and as usual the design team have made some wonderful projects to inspire us. See them all here!

I have pulled out the Lilypad Lake bundle. I liked the idea of having three little boats across the card.

I chose a neutral card base of Sahara Sand. A piece of Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper was adhered to the base with SNAIL adhesive.

Sahara Sand ink was used to stamp the water on to a strip of Whisper White card stock. Some silver baker’s twine was tied around the piece before adding to the card with dimensionals.

The boats were stamped with Memento Ink and coloured with Stampin’ Blends markers to complement the paper in the background.

The sentiment was also stamped with Memento Ink and cut in to strips.

Some adhesive backed sequins were added to the background.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Soar Above the Rest Just Add Ink #428

Good Morning Everybody,

Here is this week’s entry for the Just Add Ink challenge!

These are the colours to work with; see all the design team projects here

When I showed these colours to my downline she immediately said “balloons!” so here they are. I love the Lift Me Up set; one of my favourites!

I went with a simple Layered card. Calypso Coral was used for the card base, adding layers of Whisper White and Pool Party.

Clouds were stamped over the top layer.

The balloons were stamped and die cut. These were adhered both flat and with dimensionals to add some depth.

The sentiment was added to one side slightly over hanging the top layers.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.
