Monochromatic Cards featuring the Lovely You stamp set

Hello Everyone,

Today’s project demonstrates that beautiful cards can be made with limited supplies.

Monochromatic designs can still have depth and interest by using second generation ink, blending and layering.

The stamped border has been heat embossed to add texture, but this step could be left out!

See how I made this card in my video tutorial….

Here is my sample made with Just Jade.

The sentiment could be punched or cut down with a paper trimmer.

Tell me which is your favourite and if you try this I’d love to see them!

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Stamped Background using the Inspiring Iris stamp set

Hello Everyone,

I fancied creating my own stamped panel today.

The great thing about this is how customisable it is…. These flowers could be any colour or indeed left uncoloured to suit your project.

I have used Sahara Sand, So Saffron and Soft Sea Foam as my subtle colour palette.

See how I made this card in my video tutorial….

I used a slightly different ribbon on the original card, but felt it was a bit lost on the busy background.

Champagne rhinestones really finish them off, so pretty!

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Grungy Vintage Card featuring the Positive Thoughts stamp set

Hello Everyone,

I’m using one of my favourite stamp sets today, Positive Thoughts.

I was going for something simple but with grungy vintage vibe combining Rococco Rose and Early Espresso!

The coordinating dies include this gorgeous panel which I emphasised with some soft blending.

See how I made this card in my video tutorial….

I made my original sample using Pool Party. I think this would also work with Mint Macaron, Petal Pink or So Saffron… What do you think?

And here they are side by side. Do you have a favourite?

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Sam’s Colour Challenge

Hello Everyone,

Today’s project is for a Facebook colour challenge!

Aren’t they gorgeous!

I knew I wanted use flowers and settled on the Small Bloom Punch.

The background was made using the Many Medallions die. The coordinating stamp set, Many Mates, was used for the sentiment.

I also used the Stamparatus tool to create this multicoloured sentiment.

See how I made this card in my video tutorial….

Vellum sprigs and clear rhinestones completed the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Creating with the Tasteful Touches stamp set

Hello Everyone,

Lots of texture going on with today’s card.

I used Mint Macaron as the main colour, it’s not my most favourite colour in the Stampin’ Up! family but looks good with the black and white elements.

I made my original sample with a Blushing Bride layer over the front of a white card base.

I wonder which you prefer?

See how I made this card in my video tutorial….

I love the glitter ribbon and pearls as the finishing touches!

Clean & Simple card featuring the Sailing Home stamp set

Hello Everyone,

Clean and Simple is the order of the day today with these lovely sailing boats.

The stamp set has lots of detail so there is no colouring required if you don’t want to. I have used a damp brush to pull some the colour from the line art.

Die cutting the images was made so easy with the magnetic cutting plate, and it keeps your dies safe until you put them away!

See how I made this card in my video tutorial….

I made the original sample using a Basic Gray colour scheme.

Here are the two side by side, which do you like best?

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Wonderful Rooted in Nature

Hello Everyone,

Today’s project is all about Stamps, Paper and Ink!

This version is stepped up slightly, adding an additional set of mats and layers to a coloured card base.

The single layer version is pictured at the end of this post.

Layers are easy to cut with Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer!

See how I make this card in my video tutorial….

Masking over the sentiment means it stands out without the need for punches or dies.

This is more simple version, using a Very Vanilla card base a just one mat and layer.

I hope you enjoyed this project.
