InspireINK blog hop: Hannah’s Sketch Challenge

Hello Everyone,

Today I am blog hopping with my friends for this month’s InspireINK challenge.

Hannah has given us this cute sketch to use.

I have chosen to stay with a Christmas theme for my card.

Some Dashing Along Designer Series Paper was adhered to a white card base.

The Stitched Labels dies were used to cut the little heart circle.

The sentiment from the Merry Christmas to All was stamped with versamark I K and heat embossed in gold.

The Detailed Poinsettia dies were used to cut and embossed with the Big Shot Embossing mats. This was adhered with dimensionals and clear Wink of Stella added over the top.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Stencilled Snowflakes

Good Morning,

With the chilly morning we have been having, I thought I would use the Beautiful Blizzard bundle today.

The card is inspired by a project that we made at our recent team retreat curtesy of the lovely Heidi.

The main panel has made use of the “waste” from the cutting die as, a stencil.

I gently stippled ink over the portions I wanted using a sponge dauber. It didn’t matter to me that the edges weren’t perfect, it all added to the effect.

Once I was happy with the result, I adhered this to a Pool Party card which already has a white layer attached.

The sentiment was added simply at the bottom of the card and a few sequins completed the design.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy Stampin’!

Thinking of My Friend #FMS324

Happy Friday!

There is a new sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches. This one is from Narelle.

The design team have provided lots of inspiration. You can see their projects here!

This is my entry for this week. I have gone for a monochrome design featuring Dapper Denim.

The card base was made from Whisper White card stock.

A Whisper White layer was adhered to a piece of Dapper Denim card stock.

Myths & Magic washi tape was adhered across the middle of the card. The other strip was created by cutting a strip to a banner and adding score lines with the Simply Scored tool.

For the focal point, the leafy wreath from the Hello Friend stamp set was stamp with Dapper Denim ink and die cut with the largest Stitched Circle.

A smaller Stitched Circle in Whisper White was adhered to a Dapper Denim Starburst.

The sentiment was cut with a 1-1/4 inch punch and adhered to a 1-3/8 Dapper Denim scalloped circle.

The three elements were layered together with dimensionals then adhered to the card vase with Fat Fuse adhesive.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #007

Good Morning,

I am taking part in the Inspire.Create.Challenge today.

This week it’s a colour challenge!

You can see what the Design Team created here

This was such a festive combination so I have created a Christmas project.

The centre panel for stamping was cut to 3-1/4 inches square.

The edges of the panel were stamped using the Peace This Christmas stamp set.

Starting with Pear Pizzazz, the fir branch covered the entire edge.

Working in threes, Tranquil Tide ink was used to add the leaves and berries. This was also used to add some detail to the feast of the panel.

Pine cones were stamped in Crumb Cake ink, and the berries in Real Red.

The sentiment was added to the middle using Black Memento ink.

The panels were adhered to another Whisper White square measuring 3-1/2 inches.

For the white card, this was simply adhered with dimensionals.

The other card was made from Tranquil Tide card stock. The stamped panel was then added to some Real Red card stock measuring 3-5/8 inches square before adhering to the card base.

I hope you enjoyed this project. Thanks for stopping by and happy Stampin’!

‘Tis the Season!

Good Morning!

Today, I am using the oh so popular Painted Harvest stamp set. The idea of creating a wreath is not my original idea, there are many other examples on Pinterest.

The ink colours I have used are Lemon Lime Twist and Emerald Envy. I have only used the smaller stamp from the set. The little berries were stamped in Fresh Fig ink.

The sentiment was taken from the Oh What Fun set, and stamped with Memento Black ink.

The image was cut with the Starburst punch and adhered to a 2-1/4 inch punched circle cut from Fresh Fig card stock. This was mounted on to a 2-3/4 inch square using dimensionals.

The card base was stamped with the splatter image from Touches of Texture using Fresh Fig and Lemon Lime Twist ink.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked below.
