Seasons Greetings #CTS285

Hello again,

I thought I would play along with the Case This Sketch challenge this week.

See more about the challenge here!

Pool Party Ink was used to stamp snowflakes over a white card base.

Two pieces of Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper was adhered with snail.

The greeting was stamped with Night of Navy ink and layered on to Pool Party card stock. This added to the card with dimensionals.

A few rhinestones finished the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy Stampin’!

Debossed Snowflake #GDP116

This week the challenge is to CASE the designer, Janneke de Jong.

You can see what the design team came up with here.

This is my interpretation.

I have kept some of the colour scheme, using a Soft Sky card base and Crumb Cake for the fancy edge taken from the Swirly Snowflakes dies.

The centre piece has been made by applying Lemon Lime Twist ink to the Snowflake embossing folder.

A sentiment from Snowflake Sentiments was stamped in Crumb Cake ink and cut with the Everyday Label punch.

Some rhinestones were coloured with a dark Pool Party marker.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Thanks for stopping by and happy Stampin’!

Three in a Row

Good Morning,

December is here, with Christmas right round the corner but there is still time to get some quick cards done.

The end of year sale has started so you can still top up your supplies… But hurry, it’s first come first served, while stocks last!

https://www2.stampinup.com/ECWeb/CategoryPage.aspx?categoryid=500040&utm_source=olo&utm_medium=main-ad&utm_campaign=homepage-refresh

I have used Snowflake Sentiments to make today’s card.

The card base was made with Island Indigo card stock with a white card layer added.

Three snowflakes were stamped on to some white card stock and cut with a 1-1/4 inch punch. These were then adhered to a small die cut square.

A one inch strip of Island Indigo card stock was adhered to the left hand side of the card. The snowflakes were added equidistantly with dimensionals.

Finally, I added a sentiment and a scattering of rhinestones.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online shop below.

Single Snowflake

Good Morning!

When it comes to bulk card making as we do at Christmas time, a simple design makes the process so much easier.

This is clean, simple but still striking.

I started with a Whisper White card base and card layer.

From the Snowflake Sentiments set, I stamped the largest snowflake with Night of Navy ink on to a scrap of white card stock.

This was cut with a Stitched Circle die and layered on to a scalloped circle cut from Night of Navy card stock.

The circles were mounted on to a white scalloped square and adhered to the card with dimensional.

The sentiment was stamped underneath and a rhinestone added to the snowflake centre.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked below.

Free shipping is available on all orders for 24 hours, beginning at 11pm Sunday 26th November through til 11.59pm on Monday 27th November.

Thanks for stopping by and happy stampin’!

Falling Snowflakes #GDP114

Hi there,

It is a Sketch Challenge over at the Global Design Project this week!

Click here to see what the Design Team created to inspire us!

This card started with making the window frame. After rummaging in my scraps box, I found a piece of Perfect Plum card stock…. Not a colour I use a lot of… So I went with that.

The apertures were cut with the smallest Layering Square die, carefully spacing them as I went.

Somewhere along the line, I decided to use snowflakes within the apertures, so I pulled out Snowflake Sentiments and the matching dies.

I cut the snowflakes, layered them together and added a rhinestone and allowed them to dry.

I stamped the card layer with snowflakes using Wisteria Wonder, stamped off once.

The sentiment was stamped using Elegant Eggplant ink. White sheer ribbon was added to the bottom.

The window frame was adhered with some multipurpose glue. The die cut snowflakes were then added to each aperture.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Thanks for stopping by and happy stampin’!

Our Family To Yours

Good Morning!

Navy and silver are a perfect combination in this card.

The background was made by repeat stamping the triple snowflake image. I have done this using the Stamp-a-ma-jig to help line up the images.

I love this technique and wish it was easier to achieve…. But Stampin’ Up! has come to the rescue.

Introducing…

The Stamparatus!

The tool can be reserved from 9pm, 16th to 20th November, while stocks last, for delivery in February 2018. I can’t wait to get my hands on this revolutionary piece of kit!

The sentiment from the same set was stamped with Night of Navy ink and cut with the Everyday Label punch.

A foil snowflake and a small bow tied from metallic edged ribbon finishes the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked below.

Beautiful Season

I have the great pleasure of joining my fellow team members in this wonderful blog hop.

Everyone will be sharing projects they have created with products from the Autumn Winter catalogue that launched at the beginning of the month.

There’s plenty of inspiration to be had, I hope you enjoy it.

My project features the Snowflake Sentiments bundle.

To create the background, I first stamped the larger snowflake in versamark ink. These were heat set with clear embossing powder.

I then sponged over the piece with Pool Party ink. The embossing powder resists the ink, leaving the snowflakes white. Allow this to completely dry.

The second snowflake stamp was then stamped with versamark ink and heat set with clear powder.

Once again, I sponged over the piece. First, I used Marina Mist ink, allowing it to blend. This revealed Pool Party snowflakes.

I then added a touch of Dapper Denim to the edge creating an ombre effect.

The decorative edge was created with the coordinating dies. Both were cut from Whisper White card stock and adhered along the left hand side of the panel.

The card base was made from Dapper Denim card stock.

I added a sentiment from the Hearts Come Home stamp set, and some rhinestones for some winter sparkle.

Happy Stampin’ Everyone
