Peace

Hi folks,

My project for today features the Christmas Quilt stamp set.

I have used Lemon Lime Twist card stock to make a top folding card base and adhered a Whisper White layer.

An additional set of layers, were added using Real Red and Whisper White card stock. These were cut 1/2 inch smaller than the card base and card layer.

To make the topper, I first stamped the large stitched image in Smoky Slate ink.

The pattern was completed using Lemon Lime Twist and Bermuda Bay ink and die cut with the matching framelits.

This was mounted on to Whisper White and Lemon Lime Twist squares.

Real Red solid ribbon was tied to a bow and added to the card. The sentiment was stamped with Bermuda Bay ink.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked below.

Abstract Trees

Hi there,

My card project for today is a little different to my usual creations.

No card layers used on this one. Just a Pool Party card base, which I stamped with the large stitched image from the Christmas Quilt set in Pool Party ink.

In the Quilted Christmas DSP stack, there is a sheet covered with these abstract triangular trees. These can be cut with a die or equally by hand.

I selected five and arranged them as shown, adhering them with dimensionals.

I borrowed the sentiment from the Star of Light set and stamped using Pool Party ink and card stock. This was doubled punched with the Everyday Label.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked below.

Christmas Joy #GDP115

Hi there,

It is a Theme Challenge over at the Global Design Project this week!

Click here to see what the Design Team created to inspire us!

I have used a Cherry Cobbler card base for today’s project.

A piece of Quilted Christmas DSP was cut to 3-1/2 inches wide and embossed using the Sparkle embossing folder. This was adhered to a Whisper White card layer.

The coordinating dies were used to cut elements from gold foil, Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green card stock. The pieces were made in to the card topper.

A sentiment from the set was stamped on to Cherry Cobbler card stock with versamark ink and heat embossed with gold powder. The ends were cut with the Triple Banner punch.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Quilted Christmas

Hi there,

Christmas will be here before we know it, time to get started on making your cards!

Today I am using the Quilted Christmas bundle.

I started with a Very Vanilla card base. The card was stamped with the large stitched shape and Crumb Cake ink.

The large quilt die was used to cut Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green card stock. Keep the red and green bits and the white frame.

I also die cut a large scalloped square from Crumb Cake card stock. The white frame was carefully adhered to this square.

The red and green pieces were then used to fill in the frame.

Finally, the sentiment was stamped with memento ink and cut to a banner.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Sunshine

Hi Folks,

I know Autumn is here and the nights are drawing in, but I thought I would bring some sunshine in to the craft room.

I have used a small stamp from the Christmas Quilt set the make the background. The colours used were Sweet Sugarplum, Lemon Lime Twist and Peekaboo Peach.

I adhered this panel to a Lemon Lime Twist card base.

The word “sunshine” was die cut from black card stock. The “hello” is from the Sunshine Sayings set was stamped in black ink. A small bow was tied from black bakers twine.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Quilted Trees

Good Morning,

I have been pattern building with the Christmas Quilt stamp set, using some non traditional colours.

I started with Lemon Lime Twist ink, placing the images in a line. I then filled in the between the spaces on the next row.

The white spaces were then filled using Powder Pink, Soft Sky and So Saffron. The stitching was stamped in Tranquil Tide ink.

Three additional images were stamped in Tranquil Tide ink and die cut for later.

The sentiment was stamped with Crumb Cake ink and die cut with a Stitched Oval. This was layered on to a scalloped oval cut from Tranquil Tide card stock.

The three “trees” were added to the card with dimensionals. I added metallic enamel stars to each and tied a small bow from some Linen Thread.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked below.
