Snowy Pines FMS316

wp-1512687695090-1763455991.png

Hi there Everyone,

I am joining in with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge. There are some great ideas from the design team.

This is my card.

The layout is beautifully simple with lots of possibilities.

I used a Whisper White card base. The Basis Black layer measures 3-1/2 by 5-1/4 inches and was adhere to the top right corner of the card front.

A piece of Crumb Cake card stock was cut to 3-3/8 by 5-1/8 inches.

The pine tree from Season Like Christmas was stamped in Emerald Envy and Tranquil Tide inks.

White Craft ink was used to stamp the second image over the top to give a snowy look.

Once dry, the panel was added to the card with dimensionals.

The sentiment was added using Real Red ink. A few stars were added to the sky and some Wink of Stella created a frosty feeling to the snow.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Thanks for stopping by and happy stampin’!

Christmas Treescape

Good Morning!

Here’s something quick and easy to make at the last minute… There’s always someone that I forget!

The tree image is a two step stamp. The base layer was stamped using Pear Pizzazz ink. The second layer used Garden Green, Tranquil Tide and Always Artichoke.

Early Espresso and Soft Suede were used for the trunks.

The star was taken from the Christmas Quilt stamp set and stamped using Soft Sky ink.

Real Red solid ribbon was tied around the bottom of the card.

The sentiment was stamped in Real Red ink.

A spattering of Wink of Stella finished the card.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #005

Good Morning,

The Inspire.Create.Challenge this time is a sketch challenge. You can see what the Design Team made here

This is what I made;

The DSP is from the Christmas Around the World collection. This measures 2 by 5-3/4 inches.

Before adding to the card, I ruffled some ribbon along the edge. The paper was then adhered to the card with dimensionals.

The sentiments are from the Season Like Christmas stamp set. These were stamped with Real Red ink and cut with a Stitched Circle framelit.

I mounted the sentiments on to a foiled snowflake which I then adhered to the card with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project, thanks for stopping by and happy stampin’!

Oh Christmas Tree

Hi there,

Today’s project is a simple card that is easy to mass produce. Christmas is a time when we need lots of cards so lets make it easy.

I have used the Season Like Christmas set.

The tree was stamped in Pear Pizzazz and Garden Green ink, with Early Espresso for the trunk. A touch of Soft Sky was added at the base.

The panel was trimmed down to create a deep border from the edge of the card, (I have used a conveniently sized scrap). A slightly larger piece of Cherry Cobbler lifted this from the background.

For some extra festivity, I added some silver tinsel trim behind the panel. I decided not to use a sentiment, the card speaks for itself.

I hope you enjoyed this project the supplies used are listed and linked below.

Beautiful Season

Hi there,

I have another card featuring new products for you.

This great tree is a layering stamp. The base layer was stamped in Tranquil Tide ink.

I chose to use versamark ink for the second layer so I could heat emboss with white powder for a snow effect.

The border was die cut with the Card Front Builder die set.

Some red card stock was adhered behind the white layer, and the sentiment added.

The panel was added to a Tranquil Tide card base, to match the foliage of the tree.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are linked to the online shop below.
