Watercolour SU Colour Challenge with the So Much Happy stamp set

Hello Everyone,

I’m trying a bit of watercolour for this month’s SU Colour challenge!

Creating a Background with The Right Triangle stamp set

Where do you find inspiration?

The colours for this card came about whilst I was watching TV… I saw someone wearing a shirt with similar colours and this was what I created!

Pootlers Team Blog Hop – August-December Mini Catalogue Favourites!

Hello Everyone,

It’s time for a team blog hop! This time we are showcasing the August-December Mini Catalogue products!

Use the link provided below to view all the other projects in this blog hop, there will be loads of different ideas!

I picked Have a Hoot and the coordinating Peek a Hoot dies to work with.

I used the tags die in the set to create these apertures in Crumb Cake cardstock and stamped this with Crumb Cake ink.

This was used to mark a piece of Whisper White, identifying where the owls would be stamped. I used the Stamparatus to position the stamps.

The images were stamped again on a separate sheet for colouring and die cutting.

Pool Party ink was applied to the white cardstock before colouring the tree branches. (No need to colour the owls at this point).

This was adhered behind the Crumb Cake apertures, then onto a piece of Real Red cardstock before adding to a Crumb Cake card base.

The owls were coloured with Stampin’ Blends markers before die cutting. They were adhered to the card with dimensionals.

Finally, Real Red ink was used to stamp a sentiment.

Inspired Thursday – Lovely Nested Patchwork

Tropical Autumn

Hello Everyone,

Today’s project is all about using a stamp set in a different way!

This tropical set is going autumnal!

The colour scheme was influenced by some scraps on my craft desk which I chose to incorporate in my design.

The coordinating inks were used to stamp the leaf image.

Rainbow Leaves

Hello Everyone,

Every now and then I think it’s good to remember the beauty there is all around us.

Autumn will bring all sorts of colour to our surroundings soon, but today I am going all out with this rainbow of leaves!

I used this stamp set for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I had some other ideas on how to use it, and this is one of them.

Embellishments can be customised with the Stampin’ Blends markers. I did this with the ribbon and the pearls for a fully coordinated look. They would have looked great left in white too!

Festive Friday with the Poinsettia Place Suite

Hello Everyone,

Festive Friday’s come around very quickly!

This week I am using products from the Poinsettia Petals suite.

There are some beautiful Designer Series Papers and the Plush vellum is stunning.

The pearls were coloured with Real Red Stampin’ Blends marker.

Tone on Tone Stamping with the Queen Anne’s Lace stamp set

Hello Everyone,

I chose to work with a tone on tone technique, using Gray Granite and Basic Gray.

A pop of Petal Pink and white lift the layout and give the card a feminine feel.

Double Heat Embossing with the Today’s Tiles stamp set

Hello Everyone,

I trying out something fun with heat embossing today, I’m calling it double embossing!

Step one, heat emboss with clear powder.

Step two, heat emboss with coloured powder.

In this example I chose silver, this could also have been white!

I ended up using Rich Razzleberry card stock, but would have preferred to use Blackberry Bliss.

This is the original sample using Very Vanilla, Terracotta Tile and Cinnamon Cider.

I used gold powder for step two!
