Petal Passion with Calypso Coral

Hello Everyone,

Today’s project was inspired by some fabric.

I have replicated the design using the Petal Palette stamp set.

The main image was stamped with Smoky Slate and Tuxedo Black inks.

The flowers were “coloured” using the circle from Wood Words.

I added a die cut sentiment with dimensionals and embellished with Bitty Blooms, black gems and vellum leaves.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Beautiful Birthday

Hello Everyone,

I just love a sketch challenge…. They really help me to think about fresh card designs that I wouldn’t normally use. This one is from my lovely friend Gez.

The circle made want to use a Doily, though rather than using premade embellishments I made my own with the Painted Glass bundle.

I also wanted to use vellum in the design. I cut this down and rounded opposite corners.

I tried lots of different DSP designs to go behind the vellum. I settled on this black & white pattern from the Botanical Butterfly collection available in the Sale-a-bration offer.

I stamped the sentiment and die cut butterflies from the Painted Glass set.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Congratulations #GDP178

Hello Everyone,

This week’s challenge is a sketch challenge!

See what the Design Team have created with this sketch here

And this is my card…

I began by adhering some Designer Series Paper to a white card base.

A smaller layer of white card stock was cut with a 2 inch circle punch and then added over the top with dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped with Old Olive ink. Some Flax ribbon was adhered behind this with dimensionals. This was in turn secured to the card with another layer of dimensionals.

Leaves were cut from Old Olive, Whisper White and vellum card stocks. A dab of glue held these in place within the aperture.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Spring Flowers

Hello Everyone,

This morning’s project is for a Facebook theme challenge from Jill. She has chosen spring flowers for the challenge.

I picked out the In Every Season stamp set and worked with the little bluebells.

I started by die cutting some Pool Party and vellum card stocks with the Stitched Rectangles dies.

The vellum was then embossed with the Layered Leaves folder and adhered to the Pool Party piece. Adhesive was applied knowing it would be covered by other elements of the card. Some Polka Dot Tulle was added to the piece before adding to the card.

The flowers were stamped with Stazon Ink to allow the use of watercolour pencils. These were then fussy cut and adhered on the left hand side. A small bow was secured over the untidy stems.

The sentiment was stamped and die cut. This adhered with dimensionals. Some matching glitter enamel dots completed the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Inspire.Create #037

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Every other Monday I share my project that I have used as my entry for the Inspire.Create challenge.

This time it’s a colour challenge. The design team have made some wonderful samples as inspiration. You can see them here.

I had a couple of attempts to get to a design I was happy with.

I stamped the flowers on to a panel of Whisper White card stock. This was layered with Pool Party card stock and adhered to the card base.

The sentiment was taken from the Detailed With Love set and stamped with Pool Party ink. This was die cut using a Stitched Rectangle.

This was adhered over some white flax ribbon and vellum that had been cut with the Pretty Label Punch.

Some white sequins finished the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Hello Everyone,

Yesterday, I took part in a blog hop… If you missed it, you can start it here

Anyway, the next post in the hop was from Hannah. She used the Time for Tea bundle, it was beautiful. Her card has inspired today’s project.

My colour palette today is

I started by stamping and die cutting the cup, leaves and flowers.

For the card base, I kept to Whisper White.

The layer was cut to 3-1/4 inches wide by 4-3/4 high. I used the border die to cut the bottom and rounded the top corners.

I stamped the sentiment with Gorgeous Grape ink and adhered this to the card with dimensionals.

The other die cut elements were added using a combination of Multipurpose glue and dimensionals.

A few sequins and a dash of Wink of Stella Glitter completed the card.

InspireINK Blog Hop – For a Special Lady

Good Morning Everybody,

Welcome to this month’s InspireINK blog hop. If you have joined me from Jill’s lovely project, you will know the theme this time is…

Please be sure to click through all the projects in the hop by clicking the next button at the bottom of this post.

So for me, every special lady deserves flowers, and what could be better than stunning orchids.

I made the orchids first using the Climbing Orchid stamp set and coordinating dies. I chose Daffodil Delight and So Saffron inks for the petals. These were put together with Multipurpose glue.

The card base was made from Whisper White card stock. A panel was embossed using the Layered Leaves Dynamic Embossing folder. A strip of So Saffron card was added over the top.

I added the orchids and slipped a Starburst cut from vellum behind them.

Gray Granite ink was used to stamp the sentiment from the Part of my Story stamp set. This was cut with a Stitched Rectangle die. I secured this with dimensionals.

Some rhinestones finished off the card with a sparkle.

Next up is Hannah, just click below!

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Incredibly Proud

Hello Everyone,

So today’s card is for an “uplifting” theme in a Facebook challenge.

I have used the Incredible Like You stamp set. It has amazing Sentiments that we’re perfect for this project.

I used the group of lines and Soft Sea Foam ink to create the background.

I used the same ink to stamp the leaves knowing the sentiment was going at the bottom right.

I added the flower stems with Shaded Spruce ink and used Mango Melody for the flower heads.

Before adhering to the card, I added some Polka Dot Tulle. A knot was tied on the left hand side.

The sentiment was stamped with Memento ink and Die cut with a Stitched Rectangle die. This was added to the card with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Hello Everyone,

I love Soft Sea Foam so had to use it for this floral card.

For the topper, I die cut a Scalloped Circle.

The florals were stamped on to a punched circle.

The Vase was stamped separately and punched out the the coordinating punch. This was added to the topper with dimensionals…. I think I might be addicted to dimensionals.

I picked out this lovely sentiment which I stamped I plain black ink.
