Best Wishes #GDP181

Hello Everyone,

This week is a colour challenge!

See what the Design Team have created with this colour palette here

I have to say when I pulled these from my colour caddy I wasn’t instantly inspired.

But I remembered something I had shown my downline about using the Stamparatus to create multicoloured images.

With that in mind, I decided to use Petal Palette to make my project.

And this is my card…

I started by preparing the florals.

I mounted the stamp onto the clear door of the tool. I used sponge daubers to apply the inks.

I stamped with Daffodil Delight ink first. Cleaned the stamp and then applied Grapefruit Grove. I repeated this with Lemon Lime Twist. The images were die cut with the coordinating Framelits.

I prepped a card base using Daffodil Delight card stock and added a Lemon Lime Twist layer.

Before adding Whisper White, I first stamped some foliage to add detail to the background.

The die cuts were adhered to the bottom of the card with dimensionals.

A sentiment was stamped with Grapefruit Grove ink and cut with a die from the same set.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Diamonds and Leaves

Hello Everyone,

Today’s project was inspired by this sketch from Jill….

I added my own twist on things by varying the size of the diamonds.

I chose Blackberry Bliss to make the card base.

I die cut a square from the centre of a Whisper White card layer and adhered this to the card base.

Two additional smaller squares were cut from Fresh Fig card stock. These were adhered with dimensionals.

Leaves from the Rooted in Nature stamp set were stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink and die cut with the coordinating Framelits. These were added to each of the squares.

The sentiment was stamped onto a strip of card stock and adhered with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Daisy Tags

Hello Everyone,

Here’s something different from me today….. For this project I used three fabulous punches.

It took no time at all to make the base of these tags. The rest of the design could be any colour, any sentiment.

For the coloured card, I cut 2 by 4-3/4 inch strips.

I punched the top with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch.

For the bottom, I used the Detailed Trio Punch. This combines the rounder and the detail designs of the punch, (each corner needed to be punched twice).

The white portions measured 2 by 4 inches. The same punch was used for the top.

The Triple Banner Punch was used for the bottom.

For the stamping, I used second generation ink in matching colours, to add the daisies. Sahara Sand was used for the centres.

The sentiment was taken from the Well Said set and heat embossed in gold.

The two pieces were adhered together with snail. The top was ever so slightly off set to reveal some of the base colour.

The tags were finished with Polka Dot Tulle ribbon.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Beautiful Birthday

Hello Everyone,

I just love a sketch challenge…. They really help me to think about fresh card designs that I wouldn’t normally use. This one is from my lovely friend Gez.

The circle made want to use a Doily, though rather than using premade embellishments I made my own with the Painted Glass bundle.

I also wanted to use vellum in the design. I cut this down and rounded opposite corners.

I tried lots of different DSP designs to go behind the vellum. I settled on this black & white pattern from the Botanical Butterfly collection available in the Sale-a-bration offer.

I stamped the sentiment and die cut butterflies from the Painted Glass set.

Spring Flowers

Hello Everyone,

This morning’s project is for a Facebook theme challenge from Jill. She has chosen spring flowers for the challenge.

I picked out the In Every Season stamp set and worked with the little bluebells.

I started by die cutting some Pool Party and vellum card stocks with the Stitched Rectangles dies.

The vellum was then embossed with the Layered Leaves folder and adhered to the Pool Party piece. Adhesive was applied knowing it would be covered by other elements of the card. Some Polka Dot Tulle was added to the piece before adding to the card.

The flowers were stamped with Stazon Ink to allow the use of watercolour pencils. These were then fussy cut and adhered on the left hand side. A small bow was secured over the untidy stems.

The sentiment was stamped and die cut. This adhered with dimensionals. Some matching glitter enamel dots completed the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Some white sequins finished the card.

The other die cut elements were added using a combination of Multipurpose glue and dimensionals.

A few sequins and a dash of Wink of Stella Glitter completed the card.

I added the orchids and slipped a Starburst cut from vellum behind them.

Gray Granite ink was used to stamp the sentiment from the Part of my Story stamp set. This was cut with a Stitched Rectangle die. I secured this with dimensionals.

Some rhinestones finished off the card with a sparkle.

Incredibly Proud

Hello Everyone,

So today’s card is for an “uplifting” theme in a Facebook challenge.

I have used the Incredible Like You stamp set. It has amazing Sentiments that we’re perfect for this project.

I used the group of lines and Soft Sea Foam ink to create the background.

I used the same ink to stamp the leaves knowing the sentiment was going at the bottom right.

I added the flower stems with Shaded Spruce ink and used Mango Melody for the flower heads.

Before adhering to the card, I added some Polka Dot Tulle. A knot was tied on the left hand side.

The sentiment was stamped with Memento ink and Die cut with a Stitched Rectangle die. This was added to the card with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.
