Love & Happiness

Hello Everyone,

Today’s project is a wedding card! The couple didn’t have an official colour scheme si I picked out this pretty Magnolia Lane designer series paper.

The paper was layered with Crumb Cake card stock with some vellum in between for a softened look.

The large magnolia was coloured with Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends. This was then die cut and adhered with dimensionals.

The sentiment was taken from the Dandelion Wishes and cut using Stitched So Sweetly dies.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Magnolia Thank You

Hello Everyone,

Taking a break from Christmas with this thank you card.

I used Magnolia Lane designer series paper as the background layer. Vellum was added over the top to soften the colours a little.

A frame was cut with the Stitched Rectangle dies which was then adhered with dimensionals.

Old Olive ink was used to stamp the sentiment taken from the Modern Heart set. This was cut with a circle punch and added to the card.

Daisies were stamped with Petal Pink ink and cut with the coordinating punch. Leaves and sprigs were cut from Old Olive card stock and vellum.

The punched elements were adhered the card with multipurpose glue.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Inspire.Create #051

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Every other Monday I share my project that I have used as my entry for the Inspire.Create challenge.

This time it’s a themed challenge. The design team have made some wonderful samples as inspiration. You can see them here.

And this is what I created!

I chose to work with the Good Morning Magnolia bundle and matching Designer Series Paper.

The background was kept simple using the paper with a vellum Stitched Rectangle over the top.

The sentiment was cut with the Tailored Tag Punch. Two black shapes were secured behind the first and adhered with dimensionals.

I added a bow tied from Petal Pink Striped Organdy Ribbon.

A small bloom was coloured with Stampin’ Blends and die cut before adding to the card with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Pootlers Blog Hop – New Catalogue 2019

Hello Everyone,

Today’s project is part of a team blog hop where we have all used our shiny new products from Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalogue!

This one is terrific with some gorgeous stamp sets, bundles and full suites of products to choose from.

My project showcases product from the Magnolia Lane Suite. We had an enormous Magnolia in our front garden when I was a child and I always remember how stunning the flowers were.

The Designer Series Paper has been used as the background for my card. It is so lovely I wanted this to remain a feature.

The topper was kept small using the Stitched Rectangles dies. A larger layer was added by die cutting vellum, so the pattern could still be seen.

The white panel was stamped with a sentiment in black ink, and embellished using the small Magnolia image from the stamp set with Gray Granite ink.

Some silver thread was looped between the layers for some extra texture.

Today’s project is focused on the huge Magnolia image. This was stamped with Stazon Ink using the Stamparatus to guarantee a clear image.

The image was coloured with watercolour pencils and blender pens, then die cut.

Dimensionals were used to adhere the coloured Magnolia to a card base which was covered with Designer Series Paper.

Finally, a small strip of paper was used to mount the sentiment which was stamped on to some white card stock.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.
