In My Heart

Hello Everyone,

All the projects I am sharing this week will feature at least one retiring product.

Today it is the Modern Heart stamp set.

I kept it simple heat embossing the image with clear powder.

The facets were coloured with watercolour pencils, though I think a “real” watercolor effect may have been more successful to achieve the rainbow look.

The sentiment was added with black Memento ink.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy Stampin’!

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to this week’s Project Share. As always my friends have created some lovely work. Please use the links to visit their blogs and read more about their projects.

This week it’s a valentine theme.

Jill has used just one of the dies in the Forever Lovely bundle to make this card. Melon Mambo and Flirty Flamingo are great colours to put together.

Visit Jill’s blog here to see more about this card.

Heather has used the Modern Heart stamp set, combining Smoky Slate and Blushing Bride. This is one of my favourite sets!

Visit Heather’s blog here to see how this card was made.

Gez has used the Music from the Heart set. I like how the images have been stamped around the sentiment and fit beautifully in to the nested die cut.

Magnolia Thank You

Hello Everyone,

Taking a break from Christmas with this thank you card.

I used Magnolia Lane designer series paper as the background layer. Vellum was added over the top to soften the colours a little.

A frame was cut with the Stitched Rectangle dies which was then adhered with dimensionals.

Old Olive ink was used to stamp the sentiment taken from the Modern Heart set. This was cut with a circle punch and added to the card.

Daisies were stamped with Petal Pink ink and cut with the coordinating punch. Leaves and sprigs were cut from Old Olive card stock and vellum.

The punched elements were adhered the card with multipurpose glue.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Inspire.Create #052

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Every other Monday I share my project that I have used as my entry for the Inspire.Create challenge.

This time it’s a colour challenge. The design team have made some wonderful samples as inspiration. You can see them here.

And this is what I created!

I used the Modern Heart stamp set for my design, Stamping the outline with Gorgeous Grape and adding colour with Coastal Cabana. The panel was added to a Melon Mambo card base.

Melon Mambo Ink was used to stamp the sentiment which was cut with a 1-1/2 inch circle punch.

This was adhered to a 2″ circle of vellum and then to the card with dimensionals.

Gorgeous Grape glitter enamel dots completed the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Embossed Modern Heart

Hello Everyone.

Those of you who follow me, will know I usually use white card bases, so today I am switching it up…. with black!

I fancied trying to emboss this lovely heart image with white powder. I really liked the look but thought it needed some layers to carry it off.

I added the sentiment first also heat embossed in white, the die cut with a Stitched Rectangle.

This was layered on to a white rectangle cut from white card stock before adhering to the card base.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.
