Inspire.Create.Challenge #142 – Case the Designer!

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card is made for the latest Inspire Create Challenge!

For Challenge #142 we are Casing the Designer, Tammy!

You can see the design team projects and take part in the challenge by clicking below!

I have also used the Irresistible Blooms products for my card today.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

As I generally don’t use Designer Series Paper, I have made my own emboss resist background, blending some of the new and returning Stampin’ Up! colours.

For the original card I just used the leaves, so I could use even more new colours!

What is your favourite?

I hope you enjoyed this project.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy Stampin’!

Cards and Tags using New Stampin’ Up! In Colours

Hello Everyone,

It is so exciting to be able to use these fabulous new Stampin’ Up! In Colours!

These are earthier tones than we have had in recent years and I can see Pebbled Path being a versatile neutral.

In Colour products are not yet available to customers, these will launch when the new catalogue goes live in May. If just can’t wait, you can join Stampin’ Up! now and add them to a Starter Kit!

For today’s project, I am using the Around the Bend stamps and dies.

Here is Moody Mauve and Pebbled Path.

You can see how I made these cards in my video tutorial …

Circle punches are available as online exclusives and layer together perfectly.

Here is Copper Clay and Wild Wheat.

And finally, this is Boho Blue.

I think they look great together as a collection!

The coordinating embellishments are really pretty and catch the light so well.

Tailor Made Tags dies were used for these additional elements.

I was able to make the card and two tags from a ingle A4 sheet of cardstock with just a few scraps left over!

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #139 – Sketch Challenge!

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card is made for the latest Inspire Create Challenge!

Challenge #139 is a Sketch – a layout suggestion to create the card. This isn’t in keeping with my usual style but I’m giving it a try!

You can see the design team projects and take part in the challenge by clicking below!

I have used the fabulous In Colours for my project today.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

I have tried to stick to the sketch as closely as possible so I used the Heart Punch Pack to cut layers of vellum and cardstock.

The strips for the background are embossed / debossed and added to the Basic White panel at an angle.

For the original card the strips were tone on tone stamped and the sentiment was heat embossed.

What is your favourite In Colour?

I hope you enjoyed this project.

If you need a challenge, this will be right up your street .. some tricky colours to work with!

If you wish to play along you can do so HERE!

I have stuck with a floral design for my project… You can’t really go far wrong with the Petal Park bundle.

The Early Espresso leaves over Very Vanilla cardstock gave a vintage feel, enhanced with some Wink of Stella and ink blend around the edges.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

This card used different layers and a larger sentiment to give the design changing the look of the card but using the same products.

I hope you enjoyed this project.
