Bright Birthday Card with Two Tone Flora

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card combines a mini catalogue favourite with some new colours!

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial…

By choosing to use the floral colours for the card base and layering, the card is brighter and cheerier than the original.

I have used the Two-Tone Flora stamp set for my project today.

The background panel can be made in two parts or as a single piece as demonstrated in the video.

I love the mix of textures in this design. The two-tone flora can be created with a number of combinations…. Try some out!

This combo is Petal Pink and Calypso Coral.

Creative Colour Challenge #79 with the Two Tone Flora bundle

Hello Everyone,

This week’s Creative Colour Challenge is so summery with all the colours coming from the Stampin’ Up! Brights colour family!

If you wish to play along you can do so HERE!

Orange and pink are a great combination and work well with this two step stamping.

The foliage stamped in the background adds some depth to the design.

The Something Fancy stamp set and dies provided the sentiment which was stamped in Melon Mambo ink.

This card uses a Mango Melody card base instead.

Two-Tone Flora Video Tutorial

Hi Everyone,

You may have seen that the Pootlers Team were blog hopping at the weekend so today’s post is the video tutorial to go alongside it.

The original card used Night of Navy, Balmy Blue and Mint Macaron.

In the video tutorial, I switched to purples, Blackberry Bliss and Fresh Freesia, with Pear Pizzazz….

This version uses Blushing Bride and Sweet Sorbet with Parakeet Party.
