Bronzed Mandala #FMS362

Good Morning,

Here’s this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge entry.

The design team have made some fantastic samples. See them here.

I couldn’t resist using some glimmer paper as the background layer on this card.

For the topper, the large motif was stamped with Mango Melody ink.

Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie inks were used to stamp the smaller images. These were die cut with the coordinating thinlits.

The sentiment was added towards the bottom of the topper.

Dimensional adhesive was used to adhere the layers to the card base.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

The sentiment was cut with the Christmas Traditions Punch and the bow added some extra texture.

Blizzard of Wishes #FMS361

Good Morning,

We have made to Friday once again so here is this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge entry.

As always you can see inspiration from the design team here

I just had to use the new Snow is Glistening stamp set and Snowfall dies for this project.

I chose a pink and silver colour scheme, I think it worked really well.

First, I stamped the small snowflake cluster across a white card layer and adhered this to a white card base.

A 2 by 4 inch piece of glimmer paper was added on the right hand side.

The flurry Die was used to cut white card stock. Liquid glue secured this in place.

The sentiment was then stamped on to strip of card stock which I added with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Positive Thoughts #GDP162

Hello Everyone,

A day later than usual, but here is my entry for the Global Design Project.

I opted for the Happiness Surrounds stamp set, but using wintry colours. I really like the sentiments in this set too.

The background was stamped first, using Balmy Blue and Soft Sea Foam inks. This was adhered to a Blueberry Bushel card base.

The banners were cut from scraps. On the white piece, I stamped the large motif in Soft Sea Foam ink.

The sentiment was stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink and punched out.

I added an extra die cut flower and leaves. A rhinestone was placed in the centre.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Snowy Tree

Good Morning,

Tomorrow sees the launch of limited edition products, available during November only.

Today I have used this lovely snowflake tree to make little cards with matching envelopes.

The cards themselves are the cute narrow note cards. The tree fitted perfectly.

To make sure the images were the same on each card, I used my Stamparatus tool.

First, I positioned the trunk, and used Crumb Cake ink. On the other plate, I positioned the tree, which I stamped with Call Me Clover ink. Using the tool meant I could make up all the cards very quickly, perfect for batch making.

Shaded Spruce ink was used for the sentiment.

The envelopes were stamped with Lemon Lime Twist ink.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Snowfall

Hello Everybody,

Here is another look at the upcoming limited edition products available from 1st November 2018.

There are so many dies in the collection, making it so easy to create a beautiful snowy scene.

Pool Party ink was used to stamp the tiny snowflakes on a Whisper White card base and card layer.

The layer was then matted with some Blueberry Bushel card stock and adhered to the card base.

The sentiment was stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink and trimmed to size. The width matched that of the card layer. This was adhered to the card with dimensionals.

A number of snowflakes were die cut and adhered with Multipurpose glue.

Finally, a small bow was added to the bottom of the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Silver Baker’s twine was threaded through some faceted buttons and tied in a bow. These were adhered to the flower centres with Multipurpose glue.

Meanwhile, some polka dot tulle was wrapped around a card layer. Foliage was added with Shaded Spruce ink.

The flowers were added in a cluster. A sentiment was stamped with Gray Granite ink.

Coming Soon…..

Hi Everyone,

I have exciting news. 1st November sees the release of limited edition stamps and dies.

As a demonstrator, I have been able to purchase this early, and as you know, I adore snowflakes for Christmas card making.

This is the idea I am sharing today using a non traditional colour scheme.

First, I stamped the small snowflake cluster across the card using versamark ink and heat embossed with clear powder.

Soft Sea Foam ink was applied over the top with a sponge dauber.

The sentiment was also stamped with Soft Sea Foam ink and cut with the Everyday Label Punch.

The large snowflake was die cut from Whisper White card stock. I then embellished with faceted dots.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Thank You #GDP161

Good Morning,

I love a colour challenge. Here’s this week’s Global Design Project’s selection.

See what the design team have made here

I am not generally a fan of yellow, so the Crushed Curry card stock has been pushed back behind the main card layer.

Leaves from the Colourful Season stamp set were added down the side of the panel. First, second and third generation ink added texture.

Pumpkin Pie card stock was cut with the Thank You Thinlit. A circle of vellum was put under the sentiment to lift it from the background.

Just Thanks #GDP160

Hello Everyone,

It’s Global Design Project challenge time. This week it’s a case the designer challenge from Krista.

The sample card is gorgeous… Using one of my most favourite stamp sets.

The design team have made some great projects based on Krista’s design. You can see them all here

I resisted using the same stamp set and instead pulled out Tropical Chic and the matching dies and paper.

Some patterned paper was adhered to a white card base.

On a separate white card layer, I stamped the palm leaves with Soft Sea Foam ink. This layer was added to the card with dimensionals.

On a separate scrap of card, the sentiment was stamped with Berry Burst ink. Powder Pink ink was used to add the stripes to the edge.

Another palm leaf was stamped in Shaded Spruce ink and die cut.

A small bow of Berry Burst Ruffled Ribbon was adhered with glue dots. Gold pearls completed the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.
