Today’s card is super simple to make and it’s even easier with Stamparatus tool!

The small images are easy to colour. I chose Stampin’ Blends to work with, but you could also use watercolour pencils!

Monday Colour Challenge with Brushed Blooms

Hello Everyone,

Here we are, Monday again already! And another colour challenge!

This week’s colours are;

  • Real Red
  • Soft Suede
  • Shaded Spruce

This combo just screams Christmas, but after a bit of a think I decided to use the roses from the Brushed Blooms stamp set and the coordinating dies.

Wink of Stella not only adds some subtle glitter, but also pulls some ink colour from the line art!

My card creature the Floating and Fluttering stamp set and dies from the January to June Mini catalogue.

It was so tempting to use florals for these colours, glad I changed my mind!

The use of a decorative mask for the background adds texture quickly and easily, especially with the blending brushes!

This design is very flexible and can be used for any occasion in just about any colour you want!

Batch Cardmaking with the Fine Art Floral Suite

Hello Everyone,

I have some more cards made using Designer Series Paper again today.

This time I’m using the Fine Art Floral papers with the coordinating Art Gallery bundle.

The DSP layers measure;

  • 4 by 5-3/4 inches
  • 3 by 4-3/4 inches

The Stitched So Sweetly dies were used to frame the stamped florals.

Switching the patterned papers gives a different look,without using additional product!

These blooms use Flirty Flamingo with Merry Merlot pulled out from the paper.

This combo uses Bumblebee and Poppy Parade….

Making My Dad’s Birthday Card

Monday Colour Challenge with the Tranquil Thoughts Stamp Set

It was so tempting to get out the Friendly Flamingo stamp set, instead I turned the the Tranquil Thoughts stamp set.

I’ve used this before for a challenge, but this time I am using some of the additional dies in the bundle too.

Adding the ink with a blending brush brings out the embossed detail from the die.

I have taken the opportunity to showcase some retiring favourites!

The metallic elements I chose are Champagne Foil, and some metallic edged ribbon.

This sample uses Petal Pink and Rich Razzleberry with the Rooted in Nature stamp set and dies.

I love the detail of the Many Medallions dies. The foil looks amazing die cut this way.

I chose Very Vanilla as the base to bring through the warm tone of the foil and the inks.

This combo uses Blushing Bride and Blackberry Bliss!

Monday Colour Challenge with Under My Umbrella

Hello Everyone,

Here we are at Monday again and another colour challenge!

This week’s combo is;

  • Soft Suede
  • Shaded Spruce
  • So Saffron

I don’t use Soft Sueded and So saffron very often. After rummaging through the retiring stamp sets I settled on using Under My Umbrella to make a first floral background.

So what do we think? Which do you prefer? If I’d have had enough Shaded Spruce cardstock I would tried that too! Lol!
