New Colour Combo with Beautiful Friendship stamp set

Hello Everyone,

Yellow! Not my favourite colour, but I know many of you do, so I’m using Daffodil Delight as my starting point today.

After rummaging through my other ink pads, I decided to team this with Just Jade, (originally this was going to be Pear Pizzazz but I changed my mind!) and Rococo Rose.

The black ink of the sentiment really pops from the other bright colours in this design.

Arranging a Springtime Wreath

Hello Everyone,

It may be turning chilly with autumn approaching, but I thought I’d make a little reminder of the bright colours of spring!

I’ve used the Stamparatus tool to stamp the wreath, first in Granny Apple Green ink and then again with versamark.

By heat embossing with clear powder, a glazed look can be achieved.

Celebrating Tina

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card is dedicated to my wonderful friend and downline Tina, who sadly passed away in August.

She loved life, loved colour, loved flowers, especially Sunflowers.

This is us at Onstage Live last November. We had so much fun!

I wanted to make something that reminded me of Tina to keep on my craft desk.

Lots of colouring and die cutting for this one to create a stunning dimensional piece.

Creating a Background with The Right Triangle stamp set

Hello Everyone,

Where do you find inspiration?

The colours for this card came about whilst I was watching TV… I saw someone wearing a shirt with similar colours and this was what I created!

Pootlers Team Blog Hop – August-December Mini Catalogue Favourites!

Hello Everyone,

It’s time for a team blog hop! This time we are showcasing the August-December Mini Catalogue products!

Use the link provided below to view all the other projects in this blog hop, there will be loads of different ideas!

I picked Have a Hoot and the coordinating Peek a Hoot dies to work with.

I used the tags die in the set to create these apertures in Crumb Cake cardstock and stamped this with Crumb Cake ink.

This was used to mark a piece of Whisper White, identifying where the owls would be stamped. I used the Stamparatus to position the stamps.

The images were stamped again on a separate sheet for colouring and die cutting.

Pool Party ink was applied to the white cardstock before colouring the tree branches. (No need to colour the owls at this point).

This was adhered behind the Crumb Cake apertures, then onto a piece of Real Red cardstock before adding to a Crumb Cake card base.

The owls were coloured with Stampin’ Blends markers before die cutting. They were adhered to the card with dimensionals.

Finally, Real Red ink was used to stamp a sentiment.
