Spring Flowers

Hello Everyone,

This morning’s project is for a Facebook theme challenge from Jill. She has chosen spring flowers for the challenge.

I picked out the In Every Season stamp set and worked with the little bluebells.

I started by die cutting some Pool Party and vellum card stocks with the Stitched Rectangles dies.

The vellum was then embossed with the Layered Leaves folder and adhered to the Pool Party piece. Adhesive was applied knowing it would be covered by other elements of the card. Some Polka Dot Tulle was added to the piece before adding to the card.

The flowers were stamped with Stazon Ink to allow the use of watercolour pencils. These were then fussy cut and adhered on the left hand side. A small bow was secured over the untidy stems.

The sentiment was stamped and die cut. This adhered with dimensionals. Some matching glitter enamel dots completed the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

More Blended Blooms

Hello Everybody,

I loved making yesterday’s card, so here’s another using similar supplies.

This time I chose the large oval sentiment which was stamped with Soft Sea Foam Ink.

I added some of the larger flowers to this card, coloured with Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends Markers.

The composition meant I needed to trim down my usual card base so the images were central.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Blended Florals

Good Morning,

I love using florals in my cardmaking and I love this stamp set and matching Framelits.

The images were stamped in Memento Ink so that they may be coloured with Stampin’ Blends Markers. These were die cut ready to add to the card.

An additional die cut was adhered to a white card base over which the sentiment was added.

The flowers were then adhered around the sentiment using dimensionals.

Birthday Cupcakes

Hello Everyone,

I love how this card turned out, pretty and simple design but really effective.

The card base was built from Whisper White card stock. A smaller panel adhered to black card stock before adding to the base.

The cupcakes and sentiment were stamped on to a separate sheet and allowed to dry.

Each cake was coloured with watercolour pencils and a blender pen then cut out with a 1-1/2 inch circle punch. Dimensionals were used to add them to the card. An extra dimensional was put behind the centre one for extra depth.

The sentiment was trimmed down and also added with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Watercolour Rooster

Good Morning,

I have to admit this guy was not top of my list to choose as a Sale-a-bration freebie…. But look how cute this card is, super pleased with the watercolouring!

If you do not know what Sale-a-bration is all about click below to see more about the offers available.

I started by stamping the rooster and sentiment with black waterproof ink using the Stamparatus. While that dried completely, the background layer was stamped with Crushed Curry ink.

Acrylic blocks make fantastic little watercolour palettes. Whether the ink is taken from an ink pad or a Stampin’ Write marker this is perfect for smaller projects. The blocks are easily cleaned with a cloth or Stampin’ Shammy.

I used my aquapainter to add colour to the image.

I decided to stick to a neutral card base, using Crumb Cake card stock.

The stamped topper was adhered to the base using dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Good Morning,

Getting back to my schedule following the holiday season, so today I have my Global Design Project entry to share with you.

I built the card base using Melon Mambo card stock. I then added a layer of glimmer paper and Whisper White card stock.

For the topper, I heat embossed the sentiment with gold powder.

The hats were stamped in Stazon black ink and coloured with watercolour Pencils and adhered using dimensionals.

Birthday Presents

Hello Again,

I love this card, it turned out really great with the pastel colours.

I started this project with the presents which were stamped with Stazon Ink. This is a water resistant ink perfect for watercolouring.

I used watercolour pencils and blender pens to get this soft pastel look. These were then fussy cut. Later these were adhered with SNAIL or dimensional adhesive.

Because there are so many colours in the focal images, I used a small layer of black card stock to frame the central portion of the card.

The confetti image added some extra fun to the base card which I stamped with Smoky Slate ink.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

So Hoppy Together

Good Morning,

Today’s card is super simple and uses one of the free stamps sets available during Stampin’ Up!’s Sale-a-bration event.

The frog was stamped with Memento Ink and coloured with Stampin’ Blends Markers. This was die cut using a Stitched Shapes Framelit.

A frame was die cut from Pineapple Punch card stock. This was adhered to a Call Me Clover card base with Multipurpose glue. The stamped image was added with dimensionals.

Finally, the sentiment was stamped with Memento Ink on to a strip of white card stock. I then used a 1 inch circle punch to add the curved edges.

Just Because

Hello Everyone,

I fancied doing some colouring today so I pulled out this lovely hostess stamp set.

Choose this set when you host a party or place an order of £150 or more…… And, during Sale-a-bration get extra rewards on orders over £200.

I stamped the main image with Memento Ink. This is a ware based ink so it won’t bleed when the image is coloured with Stampin’ Blends.

The blending was achieved by starting with the lightest colour, adding the shading and then blending with the light colour again. Work in small sections while the ink is still wet for best results.

The coloured panel was then matted on to Mango Melody card stock and adhered to a Cajun Craze card base.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Lovely Lattice

Hello Everyone,

I made today’s card using a stamp set I received for FREE as part of Stampin’ Up!’s Sale-a-bration event.

It’s called Lovely Lattice and can be chosen as a free item when you place an order of £45.

The image was stamped on to Vellum with versamark ink and embossed with white powder.

I coloured on the reverse with Stampin’ Blends for a faux parchment effect.

As vellum is tricky to stick down I used an adhesive sheet. I cut this with the new layering rectangle dies.

A simple sentiment stamped with Old Olive ink completed the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Why not join my team and enjoy discounted prices and access to exclusive events? During Sale-a-bration the starter kit offers extra value, for a little extra you will also receive an exclusive craft tote!

Hello Everyone,

For today’s post I have used the Time for Tea bundle.

I started by stamping the leaves along the left hand edge of a panel of Whisper White card stock using Smoky Slate ink. This was coloured with watercolour pencils and a blender pen.

The panel was adhered to Balmy Blue card stock and then to a white card base.

The sentiment was stamped with Balmy Blue ink and die cut.

The tea cup was stamped and coloured as the leaves were. This was also die cut and adhered with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Joy to the World

Hello Everyone,

I just love these little robins in the Feathers and Frost stamp set.

The card base was made with Garden Green card stock. Matching ink was used to stamp the Holly frame on to the background.

A 3 by 3 inch square of Whisper White card was stamped to make the topper, starting with the sentiment.

The robins were added using Memento black ink. These were coloured with Soft Suede and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends.

The piece was then layered on to red glimmer paper and adhered to the card with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Three Wise Men

Hello & Happy Sunday,

Today I am using the Illuminated Christmas stamp set and doing some ink blending.

I started by heat embossing the star in the top corner.

Sponge daubers were used to blend in the background, beginning with So Saffron for the star and working through Pool Party, Balmy Blue and Night of Navy inks. A chalk marker was used to add some other tiny “stars” in the sky.

The three Kings were stamped and coloured with Stampin’ Blends. A stitched circle was used to die cut the image.

The final step was to add the sentiment. This was done simply by stamping in black ink, trimming to size and adhering with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.
