Welcome to my blog. Today is all about Sale-a-bration and the team have a video hop running on You Tube.
You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial. There are links in the video description to all the other videos…. There’s 20 in total so you won’t be short on ideas!
I’ve used the Friendly Hello bundle which can be earned as a free product with a £90 order!
This is a fabulous bundle to get started. These cards are simple to make.
Why not give them a go?
I hope you enjoyed this project.

I’m trying a different card base today to create the mini slim cards. These are made with the 6×6 Kraft cardstock by simply scoring in half.
The designer series paper is a returning favourite from last year called Heartwarming Hugs. It uses pretty patterns with the traditional red and green colour scheme.

I just love colouring with my Stampin’ Blends and I hope you find my quick tips useful!
Wink of Stella and glittery gems complete the cards!

Here we are with another Monday Colour Challenge…..
Our line up this week is;
Just Jade
Cinnamon Cider
Magenta Madness
All these colours are part of the 2020-2022 in colour collection, with Bumblebee and Night of Navy. You can purchase them all as a bundle and save 10%!
I’ve used the Flowers of Friendship stamp set and coordinating punch to make my project.
You can see how in my video tutorial…
The tone on tone look on the card base can be achieved with the coordinating ink or versamark depending on the look you are going for.
I used the same elements to make this version as part of a team challenge. I love this combo!
I hope you enjoyed this project.

Masking is a useful but simple technique to achieve a different look with yours stamps without adding additional layers.
The front most image is stamped first and then covered with a paper mask. Cutting the mask from sticky note paper means it stays in place while the other images are stamped over the top.
You can see how to do this in my video tutorial….
Of course I had to get my Stampin’ Blends out to colour these little guys!
I hope you enjoyed this project.

I am so excited about this new product from Stampin’ Up!
The Art in Bloom bundle includes a stamp set, dies and a hybrid embossing folder!
The products can be used independently or in combination to make simple effective cards.
1. Simple stamping – use the stamps alone and colour them with your favourite medium or the two-step elements in the stamp set! I used Stampin’ Blends for my card.
2. Just emboss – use your Stampin’ Cut and Emboss to emboss your card stock. I’ve used Basic White and added colour with Blending Brushes. Why not try other card stock colours?
The ink picks out the embossed details.
3. Stamp, cut & emboss – easily line up your stamped images with the die and embossing folder. The die sits inside the folder which is specifically designed so that it is not damaged in the process – it’s so clever!
(Do not try this with your other embossing folders)
I raised the die cut pieces up on to dimensionals.

This shows just 3 options, but there are so many other combinations to try!
I hope you enjoyed this project.

I do love this stamp set and I am sorry to see it retiring.
The sketchy artwork makes the images very easy to colour, whether you use Stampin’ Blends or watercolour pencils!
See how I made this card in my video tutorial…
Layering the die cuts gives the card lots of dimension!
This sample uses Poppy Parade instead of Daffodil Delight…. With so many other colours in the Stampin’ Blends range there are lots of possibilities with this set!
I hope you enjoyed this project.

Today I am sharing my project for the Inspire.Create challenge. Design Team!
This time it’s a sketch challenge. The rest of the design team have made some wonderful samples as inspiration. You can see them here not give it a go? We’d love to see your creations!
I have chosen the Peony Garden Suite for my design and went for a gatefold card to complement the sketch layout.
There were some tricky measurements in making this particular card, but these can be adjusted slightly to meet your needs.
Gray Granite ink was used to stamp the peony image which was coloured with Soft Sea Foam and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends and die cut.
Elegant Faceted Gems added a touch of bling, I did manage to get my Wink of Stella working (maybe it was camera shy?) and added a bit of that too!
I hope you enjoyed this project. You can see the video tutorial here!
