Inspire.Create #031

Hello Everybody,

Today’s post is my entry for the Inspire.Create challenge this week…..

…. And this week is a colour challenge. You can see inspiration from the design team here

I have used the First Frost bundle to create my project.

I started by stamping with Sahara Sand Ink directly on to a small Memories & More card.

The sentiment was added with versamark ink and then heat embossed with copper powder.

The foliage and flowers were stamped separately and die cut.

Liquid Multipurpose glue was used to secure the leaves, whilst dimensionals were used behind the flowers.

I loved the design… So I made 4 more!

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy Stampin’!

Just a Note

Hi there,

Starting a new hobby can be overwhelming… What to buy? Well, less than you might think.

Today’s card uses minimal supplies, just card stock, stamps and ink.

I began by stamping clouds on the Blueberry Bushel card base with matching ink.

On a square of white card stock, I stamped the sentiment. Then added the balloons.

The square was layered on to Lovely Lipstick card stock and adhered to the card base with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Sticking with the Christmas theme, I have used the Snow is Glistening stamp set… I love it so much, I just can’t put it down.

The base card was made simply with Whisper White card stock. Some Cherry Cobbler patterned paper was added to the right hand side with Granny Apple Green card stock added over the top.

The focal image was stamped on to a separate piece of card with Granny Apple Green ink, then trimmed to size.

This was adhered with dimensionals and decorated with rhinestones.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Joy #GDP164

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to a Global Design Project entry.

This week the challenge is to Case the Designer…… Louise Sharp. You can see what the design team have made here

And this is my design.

The layout is similar to the inspiration design, though I thought a layer of coloured card stock lifted the top panel away from the background.

I started by Stamping the bottom edge of the card base and the topper panel. Extra snowflakes were added to each background

The top layer was mounted on to Highland Heather card stock and secured with snail adhesive.

The tree was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink, cut out and adhered across the bottom edge of the panel with dimensionals.

The sentiment was punched out with a 1-3/8 inch scallop punch.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Snowy Background

Hello Everyone,

I have had this idea in my head for a while…… Creating a background with the Snow is Glistening stamp set.

I used Bermuda Bay and Pool Party inks to build the pattern. As the stamps are Photopolymer, it was easy to line them up..

I then just added a sentiment with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Blizzard of Wishes #FMS361

Good Morning,

We have made to Friday once again so here is this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge entry.

As always you can see inspiration from the design team here

I just had to use the new Snow is Glistening stamp set and Snowfall dies for this project.

I chose a pink and silver colour scheme, I think it worked really well.

First, I stamped the small snowflake cluster across a white card layer and adhered this to a white card base.

A 2 by 4 inch piece of glimmer paper was added on the right hand side.

The flurry Die was used to cut white card stock. Liquid glue secured this in place.

The sentiment was then stamped on to strip of card stock which I added with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Positive Thoughts #GDP162

Hello Everyone,

A day later than usual, but here is my entry for the Global Design Project.

I opted for the Happiness Surrounds stamp set, but using wintry colours. I really like the sentiments in this set too.

The background was stamped first, using Balmy Blue and Soft Sea Foam inks. This was adhered to a Blueberry Bushel card base.

The banners were cut from scraps. On the white piece, I stamped the large motif in Soft Sea Foam ink.

The sentiment was stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink and punched out.

I added an extra die cut flower and leaves. A rhinestone was placed in the centre.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Snowy Tree

Good Morning,

Tomorrow sees the launch of limited edition products, available during November only.

Today I have used this lovely snowflake tree to make little cards with matching envelopes.

The cards themselves are the cute narrow note cards. The tree fitted perfectly.

To make sure the images were the same on each card, I used my Stamparatus tool.

First, I positioned the trunk, and used Crumb Cake ink. On the other plate, I positioned the tree, which I stamped with Call Me Clover ink. Using the tool meant I could make up all the cards very quickly, perfect for batch making.

Shaded Spruce ink was used for the sentiment.

The envelopes were stamped with Lemon Lime Twist ink.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.
