Hello Everyone,

These dies work in a similar way to the Blossoms in Bloom set.

You can see these in action in this blog post

Mini Catalogue Card Swap – What did I make?

Hello Everyone,

One of great things about being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is sharing creativity and ideas both with my customers and the rest of the team.

At each catalogue launch we do a card swap… By exchanging cards we share ideas, discover new techniques, and sometimes realise there’s something we didn’t see in the catalogue!

See how I made my batch of cards, you may be surprised at which stamp bundle was used….

The Shimmery White card stock is so pretty in real life!

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Arranging a Springtime Wreath

Hello Everyone,

It may be turning chilly with autumn approaching, but I thought I’d make a little reminder of the bright colours of spring!

I’ve used the Stamparatus tool to stamp the wreath, first in Granny Apple Green ink and then again with versamark.

By heat embossing with clear powder, a glazed look can be achieved.

See how I made this card in my video tutorial….

Here’s a close up of the glazed wreath and the shaped flowers!

This is the Christmas version…

And here they are together. Just shows how versatile this set can be.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Celebrating Tina

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card is dedicated to my wonderful friend and downline Tina, who sadly passed away in August.

She loved life, loved colour, loved flowers, especially Sunflowers.

This is us at Onstage Live last November. We had so much fun!

I wanted to make something that reminded me of Tina to keep on my craft desk.

Lots of colouring and die cutting for this one to create a stunning dimensional piece.

See how I made this very special card in my video tutorial….

She wasn’t a blingy person, but I could resist some champagne rhinestones and Wink of Stella.

And here is where I am keeping it.

Always in my thoughts.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

I picked Have a Hoot and the coordinating Peek a Hoot dies to work with.

I used the tags die in the set to create these apertures in Crumb Cake cardstock and stamped this with Crumb Cake ink.

This was used to mark a piece of Whisper White, identifying where the owls would be stamped. I used the Stamparatus to position the stamps.

The images were stamped again on a separate sheet for colouring and die cutting.

Pool Party ink was applied to the white cardstock before colouring the tree branches. (No need to colour the owls at this point).

This was adhered behind the Crumb Cake apertures, then onto a piece of Real Red cardstock before adding to a Crumb Cake card base.

The owls were coloured with Stampin’ Blends markers before die cutting. They were adhered to the card with dimensionals.

Finally, Real Red ink was used to stamp a sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

The video tutorial for this project will be available tomorrow, do stop by again then!

All the ladies have been embossing this week!

Jill’s gorgeous little trees look amazing in blue and framed with snowflake designer series paper for a really frosty feel!

Heather has used both dry and best embossing in her Snowflake card. By partially embossing the front panel, there was still somewhere flat for the sentiment.

Visit Heather’s blog here

Gez has used both dry and best embossing in her card too. She has chosen to use a single heat embossed layered snowflake as her focal point.
